  1. I guess going from Peterborough to Potash Lake is a whole different story then Terry. That's how it's always been for him. Maybe his plate has been tagged as far as I know as he get's pulled over less and less each year now.
  2. Legal. If you have it all locked and it's not loaded then you are good to go. My cousin hunts all the time and takes his bike to get to the cottage/camp to hunt. Yes, he has been pulled over too and let go. True, why else do you think my cousin got pulled over, some call about a crazy guy thinking he was the terminator... not true. if you wait to see how the local cop or OPP are coming to you; you can step off with hands raised and tell him/her it's locked and where you have the key. step away and let them see how it's mounted and locked. if the cop is nice they will radio to the others in the direction you are going so you don't get pulled over every 20 min. you can always ask the cop to help you and and advise others in the area if they don't offer. just smile and be nice no matter what the situation looks like its going to turn into.
  3. Sure did look like it, HAHAHA! Every time a bird hit the water I kept hearing 'cannonball' in my mind too...
  4. It was a great time Cliff, thanks.
  5. I have seen carp all over the place but a bigger (or should I say more of them) right by the Port Perry marina and towards the South end towards 7A.

  9. Sounds good to me Brian!
  10. Hey Glenn, see how easy that was? /\/\/\ I've fished with a few on a trip and a few others more often. after you get to know some of the names that are in your area PM's work too if you are the one offering. Sometimes the others (if they have a boat) add you to the short list of crew they offer spots to. Geoff
  11. nice post for 500 bud! We still need to get out tho Simon...
  12. Welcome to OFC Pete. What kind of boat are you fishing out of and gear do you plan on bringing with you? Over between Washburn and Viewlake you should find a rather mixed bag of fish. Good luck. Geoff
  13. Simon, the grasshopper has much more to learn and prove... That deck wasn't as bad as I've seen it...
  14. thanks and I think it was $140.00 US per person for 4 hours of fishing time.
  15. yeah, that's why I made sure I got the pic. Neither of them asked for a penny more though when the day was done.

  19. nope, the only camera I bring out is the fishing one. My bro-in-law may have some others I can add to this post too.
  20. Hey all. Last week my family (10 of us) got together for a 7 Day Southern Caribbean cruise from San Juan, Puerto Rico to St. Thomas, Barbados, St. Lucia, St Kitts & St. Maarten. My brother-in-law and I decided we would set out for 4 hours deep sea fishing in St. Thomas. The Captains name was Geoff too so we figured it was going to be a good day. We got all set up and 6 lines in the water for the 5 passengers. We drew straws to see who would get the first 15 min in the chair and then rotate through the group. My luck would have it I was second! My bro-in-law got 1st crack at it. Well just as his time was about to be up, FISH ON! Then all of a sudden 2 other lines go off! Too bad for me I was the farthest from those rod’s to get my hands on one. So I help clear the other lines that were in the way. The rest of the day was some HUGE swells and waves and not another hit was had by any of us. So I took over being the Captain to see if I could change our luck, no dice… It was time to head in so we took a few pic’s of the caught fish and headed back to the shore. We decided a ‘team 8’ lunch & beer was in order too. It was so fresh... One last pic of my bro-in-laws fish as we couldn't bring them back on the ship. Um, how did that get in there?!?!?! Either way it was a fun 4 hours and I’ll do it all again. Cheers.
  21. next time shoot em, you will just get a slap n the wrist and a fine...
  22. I too don't shell out cash for things like that. now when they come around door to door doing a bottle drive, I dig up everything I can to give them because they are working for that money. I noticed something going on at the LCBO today too so maybe it was one of those 'beg for cash' drives going on, duno, tim's was too busy for me to tell.
  23. damn, I want a staycation there too Simon! amazing, as per usual.
