I have to say this based on PM's, call's and text msg's. HH is my FRIEND and always will be! My position now had nothing to do with him, it was the owner. Hell, if I could grab HH now and take him for a beer (and a fart war of course) I would. He's like my big brother and a true FRIEND!

I live in the Whitby area and it's brutal out here. I love the time I do get to go fishing alone or with friends as i just tune out and be... When it comes to this time of year it's hard to find peace on the ice as the closest ice is Scugog and everyone knows it's a zoo at best. I would rather sit in 'Sin city' (Sinclair's hut) and fish then go to a b-day party of some sort (beer involved or not!). I just love to get away and try and clear my mind; fish or no fish.

Hey all. Well something has come up (again) in my life and has left me holding the "EI Please!" sign in hand. The owner of the company I was at passed away on Monday and thus has me looking for work. Does anyone here know any contacts at Shimano or Normark? I would love to get back into sales of a product (rather then selling people, lol) and more so in the fishing industry. Yup, it's the best I have used so far. The ice line and the normal box look and feel like the same stuff. I have asked around and been told it is the same stuff too... I have one reel with #10 duracast and it doesn't ice up much if at all. I have another 2 reels with #6 nonofil and they do ice up a bit. I have found out that you need to put something on the spool to keep the line from slipping if using a metal spool. it shrinks when cold so having tape or something for the line to grip to helps. So far, I'm happy with both lines but i think if I needed to respool a reel right now it would be with the duracast. I got a real good deal on it from Phil last week too! (etackle.ca)

Good tip my friend. when I had minnows in the fish tank and they died (or died out on the ice in the bucket). I would take them and throw them in a margarine container full of salt. kept it in the garage and Sinclair and others that have used them can attest that they work.
