  1. Why in the world did they get Tom Petty to do the show???? When in the last decade did he come out with a new album or song??? i'd rather have another Janet Jackson woopsie than hear him sing lol!!!
  2. Might've been it....!!! anyone else have an idea?
  3. lol....thanks i try...you'd be surprised how fast people drive. A buddy of mine just caught a guy going 117 in a 40 in his friends mom's brand new mercedes....lol...that sucks...no car or licence for 7 days and up to $10,000 fine which he won't get...i've seen fines that should be $5000 be dropped to $100 because the JP feels sorry for the slime ball driving without insurance because he can't afford it....system's not perfect but we gotta work with it....
  4. Thanks for your thoughts JAT, it's nice to know people out there still think of us. I know my boys in 4 District can handle themselves....i'm out in Markham though....not as busy as Vaughan....
  5. Usually, one the 400 series they won't give a ticket unless you're doing 20-25 over. In the city I don't give tickets unless you're moving 20 over
  6. What you went by is a intercept project. They use a lazer, not a radar device and the lazer has a scope on it which i never use, but the OPP love them lol....anyway, unless you were stopped then you're not getting a ticket.
  7. Evenin' All, I had my parents over for dinner tonight and I spent a great deal of time talking with my father about many of the fishing adventures we had. One that really sticks out in my mind was a spring trip we took with a family friend. I remember, it was about 12-14 years ago and we went down to the Sauble River, i'm not sure were. I'm hoping if I describe the area, someone on the board would know where i'm talking about. I remember that we followed a back road, possibly dirt, to an old church. The road continued a little ways past the church to a bridge where we parked. There was a small park, i think, or it was someone's huge backyard. Anyway, this pool was incredible and i could see several 'bow that were trophy size that wouldn't hit anything I threw at them....anyway I have no idea where this could be. Neither could my father, and the family friend his since passed on. So, i looked on a map to maybe get an idea of where we were, but i couldn't really pin point where we were because i was too familiar as to how far the spring rainbows run up the Sauble. Anyway, if anyone can help, let me know, it would be nice to take my dad back up there since he hasn't been on the water in probaby 5 years or so. Thanks, Dave
  8. Yeah...it would be fun to be stranded in Stroud's home town with him....coincidentally he's from the mean streets of Richmond Hill lol...
  9. That was actually his very first show.....i watched it and it wasn't bad. you can catch it every once in a blue moon on OLN......he's working on his 3rd show.....
  10. no......the best survivalist is Ray Meares (Bush Craft).....love that show....but all 3 shows are great!
  11. Wow...it's amazing how many people go out and get themselves in trouble on the ice..... If I wasn't home sick today, i would have been out looking for him...a perk of being a part of a Search and Rescue Team. I hope we find him safe and sound and in good health!
  12. I prefer Bronte...lots of amazing pools and is great for migratory runs and for summer bass...
  13. Too bad most public servants don't get family day off!
  14. It's sad because there are many parents out there today that don't see that their children's actions are wrong. I'm finally seeing the total breakdown of the family....It's starting and I feel it's going to get worse before it gets better.
  15. Yep, I gotta work, i work nights for xmas eve and xmas day. I have boxing day off though. It's gonna be strange working xmas, but i don't mind, as long as i'm home in time to watch my daughter open her presents!
  16. Hey Gerritt, you think the 407 is bad for deer, you should try I490 or I95 in NY state...all you see along the side of the interstate is the glowing eyes for deer lol...i've even seen cougars on the side of the road too!
  17. Well, this year will be my daughter's first Christmas....although she has no idea what's going on, we've already taken her to see santa and I'll be dressing up as santa for her and my nephew.... As for my fondest memory, there's nothing that really stands out in my mind because each one is special in it's own way. I alway got a kick out of some of the things my mother used to write on the gift tags. I remember getting a toy hockey stick from Wayne Gretzky and a videogame from Mario and Luigi....but the best was a fishing rod and reel from Bob Izumi lol... Happy Festuvus Guys!
  18. You could try the Sharon Gun Club it's near Bloomington Rd and Kennedy in Markham
