    i dunno if they would chase off a pike or musky it would depend on the size and if the gar went for em i guess they seem not to bother carp

    true and kinda not bass will not move for them (guarding nests fun to watch) but they will chase away smaller fish but i seen a carp swim right through a bunch of gar and then feed be hind them
