Never put a metal roof over a existing asphalt shingle roof, strip off the old roof theres too much weight when you consider a layer (or two) of asphalt shingles, strapping and metal roofing. Especially on camp roof that in the winter may see a large amount of snow load, with no one there to shovel it off when needed.

Lived at home with my parents, 21 years old, got up one saturday morning its gone, Went to work in Maitland (yes i work) the other side of Brockville for a week on a shutdown, get a call from my parents, truck was found Sunday night, police chase involving my truck on the SN reserve in the pouring rain, punks drove into a field got it stuck in the mud because its 2wd (2 wheel drive) the punks bail leave the truck in reverse, one of the punks who bails slips and falls under the truck gets pinned under the back wheel, police and ambulance pull him out he goes to hospital for a week. I tell you who stole my truck.......two native punks one 14 and 15 years old, there you go you want pictures of my totaled destroyed truck, ill dig em up, they might be a bit old but im sure i can scan them. Heck, you want more proof, Ill even post their names because I wrote them down on the back of the pictures. I work for what I got, I dont steal and destroy others property nor do I ask for a free ride. Fisherville isnt like n/w ontario or peterborough or any other place where bald eagles are prevalent. Fisherville has ONE nest that I know of which is now gone. Fisherville for those that do not know is a nice quiet farmland area. I live 20 minutes away and I know it sure is nice to know that such things like bald eagles live in my neck of the woods, it remains to be seen what will become of them. These energy people walked in and cut down an ACTIVE bald eagle nest that was there before the windmill project even came to fruition. They could have moved the road or windmill but they chose to cut it down. Remember this is the year 2013, this is complete Bull that this was ever allowed to happen. Money talks and crap walks unfortunately. To put it into prespective, think of it as if a cottager on your favorite lake built a dock and destroyed a bunch of spawning habitat for bass, muskie or whatever. Then the MNR chooses to look the other way becasue of well i wont say but the cottager has lots of $$$$$. Im sure people would be crying the blues. But hey the fish can just move on and build another nest at another spawing location can they not........... Next maybe your favorite bass area on Lake Simcoe will be filled with windmills, I know they proposed to have them on LSC right out in the water, wouldn;t that be awesome.

Been there a bunch of times about 15 years ago when it was Camp Richfeild, we always caught fish, smallies, pickerel and pike without alot of effort. Great lake, not very big , very quiet, get to learn it you will catch fish A good friend of mine has been up there a few times since the new owner renovated and says it is really nice, if thats the case it would be great place to spend some time. Actually maybe I should make the trek once again..........but it needs muskie LOL
