  1. Thanks guys. I appreciate it. I will post installation pics when i get the ball rolling.
  2. Princess Auto and Napa only had the rubber wire with 3 conductors. Can i use that and just not use the ground wire? I got the fuses and fuse holder.
  3. So last week I got myself a new to me 17' Lund Explorer SS a 90 Yammy. I already enquired about a trailer swing tongue and i am just waiting for the product. This weekend i installed tracks and my Scotty Propack electric riggers. I am currently awaiting for the receptacles to come in. I read the online manual on wiring the riggers. Seems simple enough except for the fact i never wired anything. So its 12G wires with 2 conductors with a fuse 7" within the battery. I see Scottys wires made for the rigger. I dont want to order it. I would think i can get it at Home Depot or Rona. Anything specific i should be looking for? Now since i am installing two riggers. Can i wire them to the same battery with two seperate fuses? Or do i have to run two seperate ones? I have the Minn Kota rigged to one and the rest of the boat to the other. I dont want to overload a single battery. Sorry for the dumb questions but this electrical work is new to me. Thanks a lot. Go Canucks Go!
  4. Hey guys, I just bought a 17' Lund. The trailer is a bit too long. It fits across my garage but i would prefer to have the extra space. I have been looking at a Fulton bolt on hinge. Anyone install them? Seems fairly simple enough to install but i could be wrong. Any thoughts? Thanks. Sebastian
  5. Too bad the two biggest divers in the NHL are Canadian.....Avery and Carcillo.
  6. hahaha I don't fish the states so I wouldn't know. I'm just defending someone who backs me up that the fish is not 20lbs. I don't really care where people fish. Everyone gets something different out of fishing.
  7. How did I expose my ignorance? With the measurements you posted, the scale says 20 according to this super accurate calculator. With the measurements the 2nd guy posted, it would've been 28. Both very wrong. If you would've posted the fish alone it would've been nice but rookie steelheaders tend to oversize their fish drastically which is why you're being chewed up in this thread and the one on the other board. ITS A NICE FISH SO CONGRATS but put the pipe down and pick up a scale. Solo has some great pics and fishes the states to avoid steelhead gods like yourself who have been fishing for 3 months and posting black salmon. Please close this thread. It's honestly a waste of time to let this continue.
  8. Not mad. I just find it funny how every big rainbow is 20lbs. It's a solid fish without a doubt but people need to actually weigh steelhead. 15lbs is a SOLID bow. What's even more funny is that Solo(the only one who knows what a rainbow is) knows it's nowhere near 20lbs. He just has a nicer way to say it. It's a nice fish but invest in a scale and weigh rainbows. You'll be surprised.
  9. Too bad the fish is apparently "32"length with 22" girth" so according to your super accurate calculator the fish is 28.16lbs. You're putting in the numbers reversed and its under 20lbs. Either way that scale is way off. Some Steelheaders catch their fish 12-13lbs fish and automatically its 20lbs. It's a solid fish but nowhere near 20lbs. Carry a scale and i think you'll be surprised how much your "20lber" weighs. Pushing the fish against the camera lens doesn't make it any bigger. Take a legit shot of the fish or pics with the measuring tape next to the fish or simply buy a scale.
  10. Life Saver candies have that name for a reason...Nice big hole in the middle just in case children choke on them. Company owners child apparently had a bad experience with regular candy.
  11. Relax. It's a jig head with hair on it. Lakers are dumb fish that hit anything that looks remotely close to a minnow.
  12. You're gonna spit on vexilar after the weekend. Drop it in, play with your gain(up), noise rejection down, pick which beam and watch the magic.
  13. haha Just noticed I wrote turkeys. Meant to say Lobster. Well now we know what I'm thinking of.....mmm turkey
  14. 30 min drive to Loblaws multiplied by a few times = more gas burned than the amount you would save with those turkeys. I find it a bit crazy that you are going to email Loblaws head office because you couldn't score a deal on turkey lol Just take up hunting
  15. My im6 has 500 scratches and nicks on it and hasn't blown up. It's a solid rod. I broke a 13'6" years ago and it was my fault. It is a great rod.
  16. Honda is the reason why Ford is on life support. Cars, fishing gear, you name it......Japs Rule.
  17. Didn't want to get ripped off on the pellets so I tried it out. ...........Tried it and killed it in Parry Sound. Same round brown circle as the "trout pellets" just a lot more cheaper for a larger quantity. Most are too stiff and solid so they break when you put it on the hook. Try ones with a hole in middle so it just slides onto your hook.
  18. More views, more sponsors, more money. If you don't want 500 people in your spots then don't post anything. Simple.
  19. Even though I'm on the same boat with Stoty by always wanting Detroit to win, I decided to bet against them once I saw everyone jump on the bandwagon this year. For many years I bet for Detroit but I had a feeling this year was different. The media made it seem like the Pens had no chance especially by showing these statistics where the home team always wins. Never count a team. Kudos to Talbot, Malkin, & Fleury. Osgood is still the MVP of the playoffs. Great game.
  20. Only Chuck Norris can stop the Detroit Red Wings
  21. Detroit is too solid of a team but you cant count the Pens out yet. Crosby,Malkin and Ovechkin are star players but Ovechkin has tremendous heart. Ovie #1 in my books.
  22. Great. Thanks guys. I usually long line and see our boat out produce but last season on 3 trips we got our butt whooped by short prop wash at super high speeds so i'm interested to try it out.
