  1. You guys should look at getting the ones that live near the DVP before they become roadkill But this fall, I've yet to have seen a deer on the road near my fishing holes..But I've seen them so far 3 times on the DVP and once right in the unfinished downtown Markham section. BTW, nice picture!
  2. As far as I know, my parent's electric and water bill went up almost doubled after July....I kind of blame the HST for that, but we still don't know where the extra fees are... And I did hear about the 10% lower for January..... Please explain to me the scary stuff you said.
  3. Go GET'UM MIKE! We still gotta get on the ice this winter
  4. Man, there's plenty of us that would love to have won that boat...I hope someone on OFC gets it this time, so there probably won't be any more buying and selling of the boat.
  5. It's pretty much expected. Not very many people out there can upkeep such a big boat, especially feed it the gas it needs on the 250. Either way, here's the chance for someone to get a boat at a great deal! Just gotta win the 20 million 6/49 tomorrow!
  6. I got myself a Griffon Zero over the summer, but didn't have too much luck throwing it. Good to hear they are actually really good for other people though. I think I'll have to try again next year with them harder. BTW, that looks like a good 200 dollar splurge! Lots of colours!
  7. Good find! I've been using a clamp on a metal stick. It fell in the water once, and that wasn't very fun at all.
  8. Thanks for sharing Garry! So you care to show the world how these custom senko's look like?

  10. Good for you man! I joinEd another club myself a few months ago, and enjoyed it very much myself. If you feel like you want to learn more, it's amazing what you can learn for just fishing with a guy for one day. The best part is the boater will do anything they can to teach you to put fish into the boat. I had a one day lesson of the dropshot of which was a technique that was used twice before by me, and now it is amongst myfavourite techniques to use
  11. Woo! Nice fish! Are you fishing shallower or deeper at night compared to fishing in the day?
  12. Did you guys ever notice that Toronto's fan base is always there and the better guy on the team is always boasted as one of the best there is......Bosh, Staudemire, Carter....... The new heat team is not really gonna give the Lakers a run for their money. Wade might not be as good anymore after all his injuries, Lebron choked consecutive years. Bosh is a way overrated player.
  13. Those are just massive fish. They're all so big that I'm having a hard time telling which one is the 8lb smallie. Lol
  14. The colours on the fish are amazing! How's business coming along over there?
  15. Seems pretty cool for those that are inadequate at tying knots As of today, it seems that I'll stick with my albright because it's not bothering me yet. Come tomorrow, I think I might try it out. Lol.
  16. That's a good one, wish I knew how to say that to my dad to get out of trouble before. Lol
  17. Thanks for the help guys. We're pretty set on it being an entire family thing, I think I should have mentioned this would be a fishing trip Might not go all the way to brockville, as I was thinking of somewhere as far as being along highway 15 and 30k's within the 401. Will look at the Rice lake spot, I'll tell you guys how it ends up going.
  18. Good Afternoon all, I was just wondering if anyone knows where it's still possible to rent a pontoon for a day? The preferred locations would be in the Kawartha's and maybe I'll even be willing to drive out to the Rideau Waterways. I can't do smaller boats as I need to take about 4 - 5 people total onto the same boat, as I'm the only one with a boaters license. And am I looking at fully booked rentals at this time of year, or should there be some rentals available just walking in without advanced notice? Thanks in Advance !
  19. Nice to see you had fun out there Joey! Nice Pictures too!
  20. Nice photos! So how'd the results turn out?
  21. Pretty amazing reels if you ask me. I actually just got a president ! I've got 3 reels in total, the patriarch xt baitcaster, president, and supreme. The supreme has been around for about 5 years and has been abused as ever, but still reeling fish in nicely. The Patriarch XT has a titanium coating finish that I've yet to have put a single scratch on for 3-4 months now. Light and smooth too. Better than a curado? My biased answer is yes. Bought the president for dropshotting, and so far it seems more solid than my Shimano Sahara(09). Line lay system is not very good, but it shouldn't be a problem at all.
  22. Nice to see you got into a lot of stuff garry! I bought a 2.5" Spro Swimbait, and really haven't been able to even get a hit on it. What type of retrieve are you doing? I also find I'm becoming quite the Fluorowhore! Lol. Leaders for crappie fishing, dropshot, senkos, shakeyheads, cranks, heck, I'm not even sure it really makes a difference because there's been so few times where I haven't thrown a leader. But why are we already summing up our year?? There's plenty more to be coming Still have to learn jigs, swimbaits, lipless cranks, jerkbaits, and there's probably plenty of room for improvement in each and every technique I use now.
