  1. Even better, a 3way rig with a 3-5oz lead attached. Doesn't get much easier and very effective for lakers.
  2. I just make a day trip out of it. If the Geen isn't fishing there are a few other options close by to try and salvage the day.
  3. I like the way you think Brian
  4. Sometimes I don't even bother bringing my float gear. Great hardware river.
  5. Dave, ladyfish are awesome! Poor mans tarpon I never mind when those things tug at the other end of the line. Usually go airborne as well
  6. I usually fish from Varna down I'm sure the Saugeen is loaded with fish, just gotta keep an eye on the water levels. Funny thing about that river I've found is that even if it's high and off colour they like the smaller stuff. I never do well there running big bombers. Usually just chartreuse or pink, 3-4 chinook eggs is all it takes and long leads.
  7. Love the Bayfield, too bad it's quite the haul from Barrie. Fun river to fish.
  8. Let's take it this way. The kids were bored from playing Fortnite and because they've got nothing else to do and because their parents are burnouts and never instilled any sort of morals in their children, they decided to go out for a snowmobile ride. While they were out there, they came upon this coyote, ran it over with the snow machine because they thought that was cool. Then decided to beat it to death because that was also cool. Just another assumption from the stands.
  9. Scotty 1071 with the portable clamp mount?
  10. Like that coyote killed anything but rabbits and grouse, lol.
  11. Yup, don't go ripping out deep hooks. Hooks are cheap. Just cut them. Or if you really wanna drive guys crazy, go barbless
  12. Gotta love that!
  13. Jaw spreaders are great as long as you've got the release tools to make use of them. The 8in Kobalt bolt cutters from Lowes are a less expensive versions of the Knipex and work great. If you're chasing ski's I'd suggest a pair.
  14. Oh, I'd like to do a Fraser River sturgeon trip as well. Salt water is just a whole other animal.
  15. Nice man! I haven't put the boat away just yet. This weekend looks mint and supposedly there's a warm spell on the way.
  16. I'm usually there in less then 2. Although I speed quite a bit and take the back way, lol.
  17. I can't even imagine!
  18. Pretty sure from what I've read you need to recover and dispose of them. So basically bring them in and toss them in the trash?
  19. Anyone blasting over another boat shouldn't be out there with a gun in the first place.
  20. Go out there catch some fish and show us some pics.
  21. Sure, but shooting a coyote dead and this are completely different things. These kids have issues.
  22. Giant male arctic char from the Tree River. 50+ in pike (Short by 1.5in), double digit brookie (I've got close but no cigar) 40+lb laker. Also putting a pattern together for those open water pelagic muskies in GBay would be really satisfying. Oh add a Skamania to the list as well.
  23. Many won't pay to play the game. The vid was great however. I think the biggest thing I took from it was fishing muskie with an umbrella rig, lol.
  24. My 12g is hopefully going to get quite the workout on GBay.
