  1. Your name and license # are still linked to that infraction. If he gets pulled over in PA again and there's a warrant out for him, he'll be in hot water. Not worth it for $250 or whatever it is.. Pay the fine.
  2. Oldman had one of these back in the day... I distinctly remember being out on Lake O one spring day, it was bluebird and not windy at all. No one was catching anything.. We lowered that thing down, it told us chartreuse.. So down goes a chartreuse J-11 Rapala. Not 5mins later a 24lb king comes in the boat. First time I ever had my name on the St.Catharines Game and Fish Leader Board... It didn't last a week, but man when you're 12, that's like the pinnacle of fishing!!!!!
  3. After having vinyl in every single boat before our 1700 Pro Sport, the carpets are really really nice. No slip and slide when they get wet. Although you've gotta dry the boat out if it gets wet and take care of any blood stains. Good/bad for each.
  4. Instead of shelling out $250 for a Big Jon unit I thought I'd just rig one up myself. We made out last one out of a old piece of pipe, a pulley and a big Penn reel.. unfortunately I've got two planer boards so need a dual system... I was still thinking of using a steel pipe with fitting to sit in the 2 3/4 pedestal mount in the front of the Lund. Maybe some pulleys from PA, only question is the reels themselves.. I'm sure someone here has done this before, any pointers/tips would be appreciated!
  5. They played better in the OT then they did the 3rd period.
  6. I've got both, HotMaps Platnium and the Navionics Gold East.
  7. Riggers and dipsys for me... I'm a relative newbie to the trolling game out there but the worst thing you can do is complicate things... Keep it simple.. You can get cheap dipsy setups (I run Okuma Convectors and Okuma rods with 30# PP, some spin Dr's and flies).. On the riggers it's some old custom Fenwick fibreglass rods, Diawa Sealine 47H's from the 80's and 17lb Trilene big game.. An assortment of spoons (NK's, Michigan Stingers, etc will get you started)... Body baits like Rapal J11's work great in the spring when you are fishing shallow (15-40ft)
  8. I wanna see someone strip 50-75 boots in a single sitting, lol. Where do some of you guys come up with these figures?
  9. If I want distance with my spinning gear, I'll use Nanofil. Nothing comes close.
  10. I wouldn't be using 30# braid on a spinning setup.. Most I ever go for any kind of fishing with my spinning setups is 6 or 8lb... Combine that with a flouro leader and you should be good to go. If I need to run heavier (20# braid) I'll use a baitcast setup instead.
  11. Jose, I loved that Suffix you had on the Calais when you sold it to me I'm fairly certain they don't sell it anymore however.
  12. Great examples as to why you should leave the work to the professionals. Shock can be a very scary thing, even if you aren't involved in the accident.
  13. I had tip wrap like crazy when using it for topwaters.. It would even trip wrap when jigging for walleyes.. Way too limp for it's own good if you ask me.
  14. Atlantic salmon roe is the best, that's all I use.
  15. Awful line... it lasted 3 days before I removed it..
  16. Get a pool cue, wrap some guides on it and you're set! I use my 8ft 1pc Compre muskie rod when doing anything in heavy cover for bass, lol.
  17. They want to ban roe because they think it will somehow stop the slaughter of fish and reduce the amount of stinky fish carcasses all over the place. Boy are they wrong.
  18. I can't believe the Sens record with all the players they've got injured, I gotta admit it's pretty awesome.
  19. Work on that gill hold man, lol.
  20. Matt, all your players are dropping like flies!
  21. Lake O will probably be your only choice.
  22. Member of the Nottawasaga Steelheaders. Stream rehab, scale sampling, etc... Also did a day with the MNR out on Gloucestor Pool netting muskie for the Lake Simcoe Muskie Restoration program. That was a lot of fun.
