They should last you a lot longer then 5-7 years... Only rod I've ever broken legitimately was a St.Croix Avid that snapped a few inches above the handle when I set the hook on a big pike. Other then that, nothing.. I've got rigger rods from the early 80's that still get use anytime I'm downrigging.. Love those things! Guides could use a re-wrap but other then that they are mint,.

So it worked fine before you swapped to LEDs now it doesn't work? I just installed LED's on my ShoreLand'r, everything works just fine.. It should have been a very straight forward swap.. 3 wires per light... If everything was working fine before the swap, the trailer wiring is just fine.. You probably wired the lights incorrectly.

Fish being pulled off beds, then other fish like crappie, bluegill and sunfish swarming in and eating fry will have a greater effect on the population then someone filling a white bucket, let's be realistic here. Let's not forget the growing seasons in the US are probably what, double of ours?

How many places in the US have spawning bass in June? I bet not many if any at all... There's a reason why the season is closed until late June up here. Some years I've caught bass off deep weed edges during the pike opener, some years (like this year) it's a late season and the fish are still doing their thing in the shallows.

Clay bar it first, then worry about a polish.. If you don't clay, you're just rubbing more crap into your paint.

Lots and lots of nice fish being caught in the top 40FOW this late spring/early summer.. Troll some deep divers, run dipsys, etc.. No need for riggers yet.
