  1. I love watching the Leafs when they play out west, almost as many Leafs fans as when they're in Ottawa!
  2. Find someone who does your local river (I know Graham guides the Credit).. No point in driving 3hrs and get guided on a river you'll never fish.
  3. Yup. Plug it in and forget it. I love my Guest onboard charger.
  4. If they are working fine, I wouldn't touch them... There's really no point.
  5. Rotella T6 5w40 in our Yamaha F115. My buddy who's a mechanic for the Coast Guard says it will be just fine. I tend to trust what he says, lol. Mercury doesn't make their own oil, it's just rebranded.. There's no way I'd spend $15 a litre on oil for my friggin boat, lol! The engine is nothing special.
  6. People are going to start taking matters into their own hands if the government(s) don't take this seriously. Can't be that hard to get a certain chemical that can be dumped and will kill anything swimming.
  7. Fraser not in the line up tonight? Haven't seen him out on the ice yet
  8. As long as my rig starts up my reel, that's about all I worry about. I've never timed my DeMarco or my Frogwater.
  9. I gotta get two of my oldmans re-wrapped, but I tell ya there isn't anything else I'd rather reel a big king or laker in with. They are a lot of fun. Also have a old Mitchel 782 Mooching reel that gets used quite a bit as well.
  10. You're giving that information out for free? How much $$$ have you actually made from these picks? If nothing, I think the jokes on you.
  11. Fraser and Kulemin back in the line up tonight!. Maybe Lupul as well?
  12. Depends on what river you want to fish.
  13. I've got a set of Sealines that I remember using as a young kid with the oldman (Pair of 27H's and 47Hs) they still are attached to my primary rigger rods (Which are old Fenwick custom fibreglass rods!) I wouldn't trade them for anything.
  14. Bernier just seems way more calm while in net... I really like Reims, but personally I think Bernier is in an entirely different league.
  15. Salmon gear isn't very complicated. Probably why the Daiwa Sealines haven't changed much since the early 80's. I run a pair of Okuma Convectors on my dipsy setups as well, no complaints.. However, I don't beat on them I do my other fishing gear.
  16. Investing in a guiding service is never a bad idea. Along with putting you on fish, he'll definitely teach you what to look for. Biggest thing I was shown (Thanks Mike!) was how to read water properly and break it down. Once you can do that, the river itself really doesn't matter.
  17. I'm just comparing this game to a few of his previous ones. I wouldn't feel bad at all if he was sent back down to the Marlies.
  18. Everyone played a good game tonight, even Ranger! Clarkson definitely made a big impact tonight. He seemed to get everyone else hitting as well. Reminded me of the old Leafs there for a little while! Great game.
  19. Anytime the Leafs got a bit of momentum lastnight, they'd take a penalty (or a bad one would be called) and they'd have to start all over again. Credit goes to the Blue Jackets, they played a pretty good game. That short handed goal was the killer however (Bernier should have had that one) Another failed clearing attempt by Ranger lead to a goal, let's hope Carlyle is noticing this as well!
  20. Baits are probably the last thing I worry about when I'm trying to pattern out a species of fish for the day. You could be tossing the perfect lure, but if the fish isn't there to eat it, you won't get bit.
  21. Should have rigged up one of those perch for Mr.Pike that was hanging around
