  5. When I lived in Larson Bay it cost me several doz minnows before I picked up on the otters. I ended up wiring the door shut so he could'nt open it. Inspired this work and the word for word inspiration beside the painting in my book of works IN NORTHWESTERN ONTARIO WE HAD A FAMILY OF OTTERS THAT LIVED ALONG OUR SHORE. HOURS COULD BE CONSUMED WATCHING THEIR PLAYFUL ANTICS. TRULY ONE OF NATURES TIRELESS PERFORMERS. IF I COULD ONLY KEEP THEM OUT OF MY MINNOW BUCKET.

  17. The fishing is good there. Lots of good smallies Lakers I would'nt bother with too much this time of year unless your down riggin Some decent walleyes And the largest pike I've Ever seen---my wife had hooked but could'nt land Note--I've fished Gators in NWT and NorhWestern Ontario----this was still the biggest I seen
  18. Really cool----Usually a kids 1st fish is some out of season monster that you hunt for a lifetime. Right on.
  19. Well the last lake we fished was GIN clear---my son gave me a lesson using clear mono and me using Power pro-green. Only confusing part is the colour issue---one would think natural clour would be best---which was tried by all---mono and braid-----purple senko was hot and white sluggo ...??? even over live bait. only issue my son had was digging those 4-5 lbers outta the grass with mono
  20. Hi Guys, Yeah I painted one from memory a while ago---a little artistic licence from my youth. Thanks Again
  21. Thanks very much for the pics Mike Memory lane---I cut my fishin teeth in Calendonia.
  22. Well our Son came home for the weekend to do a little fishin as he's not been out all year and goin crazy. OK I guess I better put him on fish or I'll never hear the end of it---No pressure for the old guy. Well we did real good....14-16 fow---weed flats----coon tail good---duck weed sucked. Soft jerkbaits were the ticket. Here's a couple--his personal best largie..
  23. Brian---History has taught me one thing on this. Give anyone a right to do something (in this place make you take down your sunshine girl) And they will excercise it!! It's a power trip---that tiny bit of authority they'll ever get.
  24. I've got a Minn Kota 24 volt "Tiller" handle--Bow Mount. If you are hurtin for room up front---this works well for me---had it 13 years now. Note---they're not a lot cheaper if at all than a foot drive.
