  1. Who cares..........they taste like carp anyways.....LOL
  2. That sir is just a large pond.......especially when you're talking walleyes.
  3. Yes, but that's no different then any lake in North America, however many lakes give you a much better success rate all while being even more challenging to the angler. Take the best walleye lake in North America........Lake Erie...it's HUGE vast areas of unproductive waters that some will fish for days or even seasons without much success, others will limit out with huge walleyes that make pictures pop out on any site. What we have today is not much different that what was available 50 years ago.....fish and be happy.
  4. Lew, went through the same damn thing here...........they can't block these calls but can change my phone number for a extra charge. I then asked them what's stopping these calls to my new number........The SILENCE was deafening.........So now when I get these calls I go on the offensive....meaning I want to be offensive to them.....Them....."we are calling to lower your credit card interest rates"........Me...... "So what are you wearing........do you go both ways".......CLICK........no more calls from those idiots.... Happy Happy Happy on this end of the receiver............
  5. We have a small 3 bedroom ranch that we heat almost exclusively with a wood burning stove from Lopi.....it's a convection design that need no fan to push out the heat into the rest of the home. It's their model called "Answer" and designed for small homes or small spaces like you are referring to. Now mind you these are top rated wood/pellet/gas/electric burning stoves and may be prices higher then any you would find in a Home Depot or other discounted suppliers but when it comes to heating your home with a wood product don't mess around and jeopardize the safety of your family. We have had our stove over 15 years now without any problems and LOVE it.......we spent a little extra to get the solid brass door and also a etched glass with elk on them and glad we did because not only does it heat the home but adds beauty in our living room. Here is there website and they even have short videos to show how their convention design works PLUS they now have pellets stoves available. Click on the below link and make sure you watch the 7 minute video on "Lopi Wood Stoves". http://www.lopi.ca/videogallery.aspx Good Luck on your hunt for the right stove for your home.
  6. "The Internet".........is that thing still around......LOL
  7. Down the road a bit was really lit up with all kinds of red flashing lights........thought someone really went haywire decorating the house this year. Turned out to be a meth lab bust and the police supplied all the nice flashing lights this time around.
  8. One other tip........on your first trip there don't spend all that money to be in Vegas and then go elsewhere, like the Grand Canyon (over 8 hour drive) or even the Damn (45 minute drive) or Red Rock (45 minute drive). And if like your adult beverages DO NOT rent a car....actually no need for one on the strip.
  9. Time has proven over the many years this method of many small whacks on the rusted rotors have been effected without ill effects. But I'll take the advice given and keep a ear to the grindstone. Thanks BTW no thin lock nut, but here was 2 Philip screws that need to be removed.....guess that vehicle has them ? ? ?
  10. I respect your comment but disagree with the French River comment.........walleye fishing there has not been the same in over 30 years.
  11. Besides aluminum wheels always having rim leeks this is just another reason not to have on any of my vehicles.; Changed out brake pads and rotors on the wife's car about 2 weeks ago and of course them damn rotors were rusted on.......about 25-50 hits with a 2.5 lb ball peen hammer and off them came. The vibration alone will eventually give way.
  12. Every dollar collect by any government agency means more money wasted.
  13. You could still have hidden voltage draw that is draining your battery and then in cold weather it lowers your battery power enough to not turn over the engine. Do this as it's the easiest to check, especially if you have one other person to help. Take a volt reading across the battery while it's still connect to the vehicle.....write it down....let's say it reads 12.8 volts........now have someone watch the volt meter as you start pulling fuses one at a time. If that volt meter stays the same reinstall that fuse. Keep doing this and if the meter jumps up you have now found the circuit that may be your problem.
  14. This is one of the best places to get show tickets......again only book rooms through the hotel direct but everything else they offer is on the UP and UP. Never had a problem using the Best of Vegas and sometimes half the price then buying direct with the hotel for show tickets. Again, I advise steering clear of the Circus acts but then again you might enjoy ONE......click on see all shows and then you can even categorize them, like only comedy's or only adult shows. http://www.bestofvegas.com/?&utm_campaign=Logo-Top&j=1009088&[email protected]&l=6980_HTML&u=35241243&mid=1057435&jb=0&utm_source=Email&utm_medium=November-20-2014-BOV-Newsletter-Resend
  15. I think you are right. 7 feet of snow on a roof weighs the same or LESS once the temp rise and it finally starts to melt, at least as far as weight on the roof. And as Lew has said it now heavier to shovel it off, but no need to unless rain is in the forecast.
  16. The 3/4" feed line gives you much more water flow and pressure that will overcome lifting the water out of the sump hole and up above your grade as well as sending it on it's way to wherever you are pumping it to.
  17. Actually a back up generator like you have is a excellent idea on top of the water driven pump and MUCH cheaper then a auto run generator running on natural gas or propane. We also have one and I believe it's also a 6500 watt start up, 5500 running generator. I had the house wired to accept a huge 30 amp feed line to the bottom of my main fuse box and will run the complete house.......however, I never tried to run the central air with it YET.
  18. Get 'R Done.... Make sure you follow the installation instructions and install a shut off or two plus a a one way flapper valve on the exhaust side of the plumbing. Mine required 3/4" supply pipe to the pump and I believe 1.25" exhaust pipe going out. Good Luck and do a good job as it will serve you for many years to come.
  19. Actually if it doesn't rain, it will be less every minute.
  20. There has always been climate change and there will always be climate change.
  21. My Liberty water driven pump uses 1 city gallon of water to pump out 2 gallons of water. Remember these are back up pumps and will never go on until your regular sump pump fails to do it's job because either you lose the power OR the pump float switch fails or the motor fails. A generator will not help you if something go wrongs with your regular S pump and you are not home. See here.............1 gallon used to pump 2 gallons out. https://www.libertypumps.com/Products/Category/SubCategory/Product/?p=76&s=23&c=14
  22. I just ask them "what are you wearing and do you go both ways"......the silence is deafening and they hang up.
