  1. Big games are won and lost on great plays and the NE defensive back made a GREAT play....his only interception in his rookie year. Somehow I was hoping both teams could lose because I can't stand either one.........and in a small way they did.......Seattle LOST the game and NE just got lucky Seattle didn't run the ball because NE knew the game was in the bag for Seattle until a stupid pass play was called. So as I said.............NE didn't win the game.......Seattle LOST the game, similar to the Bills losing Super Bowl 25 to the Giants.
  2. I can't agree more.......AND wind energy is one of the most expensive ways to produce energy believe it or not. Once they put them in our Great Lakes they will be there FOREVER ! ! ! Even if they no longer are maintained to operate they will be abandoned and make huge eye sores for EVERYONE.
  3. Too old to be sleeping in the back of a truck now a days. Cabin, cottage or hotel (camp Sheraton) fits me much better now. However, for almost 20 years I had a van(s) that I slept in at boat launches all over North America for FREE ! ! ! We would take out anything we didn't need in the van and put it in the boat and cover the boat overnight. Then reverse the procedure to go fishing. To sleep in the van I got some REAL NICE caboose cushions that fit perfectly on the van floor. Still have those cushions in the attic of the garage. VERY comfortable to sleep on. For camping I would take a van any day over a pick up truck for sleeping quarters.
  4. Sorry but that will NOT work. First every hotel I have ever been to always asks for a credit card upon check in so if you charge things to your room, make phone calls out to areas that are not included in their free call zones or you do damage to the room they have your credit card number and you have to agree to this just to check in... And I have said once before in the US they have what they now call "Resort Fees" that are tack on when you arrive at the hotel no matter if you book directly with the hotel or use a third party like Expedia. This way the hotel gets to keep 100% of the so called resort fee and not share it with a third party and that's exactly why it's done at check in.
  5. Since you like to "cheat" you must be a New England-er.....LOL
  6. My father use to make us Pork & Dumplings (he was as German as could be).......so good....did it about the same way but he would put caraway seeds on top of the roast.....we would peel off those little squares of crispy fat and eat them first. We always called them "Crispies" and would fight over them. Then the next day he would cut up the roast and dumplings and put them in a large skillet with gravy to heat them up...BETTER then the first day by far. ENJOY your roast
  7. No, Sorry none of them and now you're just using a shotgun approach.
  8. AND he's a well know character here...........try GOOGLEING that one.
  9. That is the only way the "Browns" ever go to the Super Bowl is someone buys them tickets. I believe they are one of four teams that never made it to the Super Bowl.
  10. Hate both teams.......but I guess with Lynch, I hate the Sea Hawks even more.....so I guess go NE. The NFL should make NE play with a over inflated ball for this game. BTW we are having what I would at any game...........HOT DOGS done on my open fire from my wood burning stove. Also French Onion soup that a member here shared his recipe with me....I think in a previous life he was a CHEF ! ! !............can anyone here guess who he is ? ? ?
  11. Since I have never been asked for one I stop buying them.
  12. Fishing was MUCH better when residents didn't have to possess a fishing license.
  13. You can also convert that hand powered auger into a electric portable drill auger for about $25.....did mine that is a 7" and it cut right through ice without a problem.

  15. In 2007 when the first full size Tundra's were built they offered both a 5.7L and a 4.7L V8 engine not to mention a V6. The 4.7L V8 was a Lexus engine.
  16. I agree with Brian, cordless drill is the way to go for most guys.
  17. Put a blade on it and now it's a bulldozer.

  19. Here's a few other odd balls if you want to call them that....... Get a "FREE" Gift......what other kind of gift is there unless it's free. Ever watch the 6pm news on TV and they are showing you the traffic report for those heading home from work. If you already home, why would you care.........and if your in your car driving home, how can you be watching this on TV.
  20. So the Ontario government purchased Japanese outboards where E-TEC motors are built in North America and owned by a Canadian company, BPR.... Bombadier Recreational Products....Now I'm angry. BTW I have owned several other outboards and all have been very good to me, but this E-TEC is the best so far. Quietest, strong hole shot, great on gas and really sips oil. Saved over 1K on the purchase and a FIVE YEAR full Warranty. No other manufacture came close to that deal.
