A late spring is what I'm worried about, thus a short maple syrup season.

Sounds like a inside job or at least knowledge from the inside. Boat was in building and not out in plain view for anyone to see. This reminds me of the "get video camera's" to protect you, your family and your property. But from reading all the other post, it would not be much help if said boat is on the res. However, a big barking hound might of kept the thieves at bay..... Sounds like the boat, motor and trailer are somewhat new, maybe, and if so I hope insured against this very thing. Some money back is better then nothing. BTW did the owner maybe want this rig to "go away" for whatever reason ? ? ?

It's good to be prepared but I'm expecting a very short maple season this year.

Although many trailer parks will have that 10 year age restriction, most will allow a real nice older trailer in. Always contact the park your interested in and tell them it's in new like condition. They will probably ask you to send them a photo of said trailer. This 10 year rule is to keep the JUNK trailers from taking over the park, not to actually prevent older trailer owners from enjoying their park.

I don't expect that to happen because the Canadian dollar has a big base on the price of oil and that party (dropping oil prices) has come to an end. But then again, WHO really knows, just like the stock market. Sometimes nothing makes sense.

But you can't be knowledgeable about a product that your employer / store does not carry. I have hunted and shot for over 45 years now and I don't know every single caliber that is out there and I can't expect some store clerk to know everything either and then if he doesn't, condemn that store just because of that. A .32 Win special is something not everyone sees all the time. And there are many other calibers out there I know nothing about and I'm sure richyb and you have no knowledge about. Does this make us dummies in our sport. I would hope not and I wouldn't look to favorably upon anyone who does expect that. But again, I not sure richyb is leaning that way or not.

EXACTLY.......and this is why a on-board charger is so important if you really want to get the most out of all your boat batteries. All modern on-board chargers are "Smart Chargers" to keep batteries de-sulfated not to mention how easy it is to just plug in your "boat" when not fishing. I would not have a boat without one.

I hear and agree on almost everything you are saying. HOWEVER, you will never get all those things you listed AND always get the lowest price from the same retailer. I don't find Cabela's lacking in anything I need. They might not have it at your local Cabela's store but a simple click of the mouse and you can order it and have it shipped to that store for FREE. It don't get no better then that. And no one, I repeat NO ONE has better customer service in the retail industry then Cabela's in my experience. But I do agree they are not a bottom bargain price store anymore. NO store will always have everything you need on the shelf no matter what kind of store it is. At least that has been my experience. As far as the constant catalogs that keep coming weekly or 2-3X a week.........that was my biggest whine for Cabela's........so about 4-5 years ago on Cabela's forum site I brought that up to a Cabela's forum administrator and he took down my info and the catalogs did not all go away but now only get one maybe a month and I no longer get that hard covered book that comes shipped wrapped in cardboard.

Those shallow water fish are on the feed while those deep water fish are mostly not. NICE CATCH AND GREAT REPORT ! ! !

I agree, the Hamburg, PA store is AWESOME that has 3 restaurants in it to give you a prospective on how large it really is (265,000 sq feet) compared to the new sized down stores that are now all under 90,000 sq feet. Cabela's has decided all their newer stores now will be the down sized store so they can expand to more markets across North America. And for those who keep using the term "Big Box Store" when referring to Cabela's couldn't be further from the truth. They all are themed stores that have vaulted ceilings and outdoor/hunting/fishing decor to the max. A big box store is like a Walmart as it's just a huge store contained in a box like exterior. Many of you mom and pop stores could be described as small box stores. We all have our own preferences when it comes to shopping for whatever, and that is the way it should be to keep prices as low as possible. Without that competition our prices would be much higher on our adult toys.

YEP, that's exactly what happened to us. You can't board the dog unless they have the shot and we can see the logic in that. HOWEVER, the kennel also does dog grooming and those dogs don't need a shot so we think it might have come from there.

My hound always gets her kennel cough shot and got kennel cough this year......we asked the vet how can that be.........he said just like the flu there are different strains of kennel cough....seems like a waste of time and MONEY IMHO.

EXACTLY........cameras record what happen and maybe how they attacked your family and possibly killed them. I am more interested in protecting the family and the ranch with Fido and preventing it from even happening......Many more homes to target that don't have dogs and that's where they go. BTW if they somehow get past Fido.......they will meet my little buddies......door was lock for their protection, not mine. Got to go...........Fido is hungry and if I don't feed her there's going to be trouble.....LOL
