Another annual trip with my Son, Son-in-law who flew up from Georgia and a couple of buddies has come and gone again....this was my second trip this year up to Temagami and this one was a blast hanging out with the boyz.... Good eats, drinks, laughs and the odd fish ....my buddy and I even got to portage into another lake this trip for some eyes.... We had great weather other than the Tuesday that bombarded us with a wicked West wind that kept us on the island with nothing much to do other than drink many pops and cocktails ....it's amazing how us older guys can still keep up with the young bloods... Here's some pics of our trip.... My son-in-law was determined to catch something off the dock.... The end of the bay where we started our portage... My buddy Steve who's like a strong pack mule... Our destination... Some more shots from the main Lake..... My son and son-in-law chillin' out with a couple of beers enjoying the scenery My son-in-law with his first Laker.... Our home away from home for the week.... A beautiful Northern sunset and my new Lowrance HDS-5 which is amazing!!!!!....

We'll keep our eyes open on this part of the river...

Mine did the exact same thing yesterday!!!...I loosened off the wing nuts on both terminals and re-tightened them and then she started....I didn't really notice corrosion on the terminals so I'm a little stumped as well....Just in case though I sprayed each terminal and lug with WD-40...

Thanks guys... Roy, it's nice to be out and about again!!...it's been busy around the house and at work but I'm finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel .....I start vacation for 4 weeks starting August 14th and I'm going to make sure I make up for all the lost time!!

Very nice Muskie in deed!!!....I've been noticing that the Muskies are feeding and fattening up quite early this year....could be an awesome Fall for a PB or even a record!!!

The rain started to let up late this morning, so I grabbed my gear, put on the the wetskins and decided to head out on the river for a few hours....I was a little pessimistic at first due to spring like water levels on the river from all the rain and also the discoloration of the water....but that quickly changed after 45min... Not the biggest I've ever caught, but it was nice just to hold her in my arms and then see her swim off again to grow bigger!! The Release............
