I am allergic. Bees will kill me.. (unless I have access to my Epipen and quick...) I am also allergic to Horse flies. Deer flies are not a problem.. but like you when a horse fly bites I swell big time! I have lived with this for years... buy some Benedryl and keep it handy. It is better then a hospital visit. Trust me I know. G

I have fished there many times, and have stayed on the Island many times. Henry's is great! and Remmy's will sell you beer. Pike can be phenomena, If you're pal is into salmon they can be caught in the bigger water. But my guess is you will be landing more trout. As Wayne said be VERY careful in this area even the ride out from the marina can be tough if you do not the area. I would be looking in back bays for Pike, no deeper the 20' Bass just hit their usual haunts, weeds, structure etc.. Have a great time, it is a beautiful area G

PC tequila habanero sauce, the meatballs were rolled in Plowboys before being wrapped. Wish I could make up there Randy.. but these were smoked low n slow using a mixture of Apple and Cherry chunks, as well as RO Lump, on my barrel smoker.. I would need a smoker to make em up there.. G

Decided to try Moink balls for the first time! I hope I can now be certified.... the girlfriend would be ecstatic LOL.. I also smoke up some Chorizo and man did they turn out fantastic! The kids would not leave me alone at the BBQ once they had a sample of the Moinks! they were inviting friends over in the neighbourhood etc.. it got chaotic! anyways enough of the blabber... and onto the pron.. I started with these... and a couple packs of this.. Labour intensive... this helped! Off the Q... am I certified yet? the chorizo Veg.. and some more.. Ready to dine.. Hope you enjoyed, I know I will! G
