  4. That does sound like the impeller is going (gone) for a dump. If the motor is not peeing, do not run it for long as it is not being cooled. An impeller is not too hard to change, as I understand it. Good Luck!!!

  8. Thanks for the advice guys! Keep your eyes open if your looking for a excellent running evinrude 7.5 out board. I think one is going to show up in the classifieds soon...... Ask Garry 2rs if you want an honest assesment.
  9. I have a chance to get a 20 hp for "Lure Laundry" at a reasonable cost. The hull is rated for a 25. Will the 5 less hp make much of a difference? I am currently running a whoppin' 7.5 and get FANTASTIC fuel economy, but 7 mph at WOT. I have had it out for close to 12 hours and still have 1/2 tank of gas left.
  10. GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
  11. Well, if you ever see how well he twirls it......and then tosses it into the air and catches it.....
  12. When you mount the motor try to have it in the direct center of your bow, I did not do that and I regret that now. If you go to brafasco you can buy stainless steel fasteners relativley cheap
  13. John's report is fairly accurate, however there is one inaccuracy in the report. I did not crap out due to lack of beer consumption training, but rather due to the fact that I had laid over 300 square feet of laminate that day and fished for 4 hours. IMHO I was allowed to be tired, yes? John, when you go fishing is it usual for you to foul hook fish??? (Not that there is anything wrong with that.....) I have to say that I very much enjoyed the time we spent together and hope to do it again soon.
  14. I wasn't there, but I would say it is these type of sites and people that cause these reports. WTG Dawson!
  15. I don't know the area that well, but I seem to recall Ridieu Provincial park has easy access to the water. I doubt that there are trout, but a good bass will get ya goin too. My wife works with the disabled and could be a good scouce of info is you desire Welcome to the board!
  16. Or they have very large families.....
  17. But there is no Tim Horton's there????
  18. Perch is better IMHO, use that one on sunny days it will be more effective. On cloudy days use a painted finish, that is what some guy who knows WAY TOO much told me.
  19. Try the Dunville dam basin, I was there last thursday and saw a boat at the center of the dam pullin em out one after another.
  20. So THAT'S Moosebunks secret, he has a muse. Perhaps he should respond to the call of the sirens perched on the rocks.
  21. Try fantastic for the tire ring, and rubbing compound for the scuff marks.
  22. We are 4 - 5 miles south of you, and we are dry
  23. Apparently there is a marina in Niagara Falls that has old boats they part out. As well, there is always Kijiji. Good luck with the project
  24. Sheesh, you throw ONE guy overboard and it sticks with you the rest of your life....... A good time was had by all although Garry did have the highest fish count, however I won the clam count! Getting pulled over by the OPP was a good experience as it showed me that the boat prep was done properly, something I was not sure about.
  25. Looks like a great time was had by all! As to your hair....grass doesn't grow on a busy street and besides there is always a hat.
