  1. Yep, Yep, Yep.
  2. What he said!
  3. I have a ford van, probably the same setup. What I did with mine is bought a very handy harness at CTC that plugs directly into the wiring harness of my van. Plug it in, and plug in the trailer, and go. As a matter of fact i put new lights on my trailer Friday night, and just plugged em in. It was great!
  4. Glad to hear that she is doing better, best wishes for you and yours
  5. Good on her, and what a great way to spend mothers day.
  6. One of my favorite sayings I learned from her, "Sometimes you just have to row with the oars you've got" A great way to accept one's circumstances regardless of how good or bad they are.
  7. Makes sense, my 7.5 hp pushes me along at 7.5 MPH on Gps
  8. That is some the best advertising I have seen in a long time!
  9. Enjoy your summer and once again thank you for your advice over the past winter.
  10. Now that you have made your first report....when are you going to become a member of the board????? Congrads on a good night.
  11. Thanks for the advice, I will do that and as well, coat the connections with No-lux. (a paste used to preserve residential alum. wiring)
  12. I'll tell you on Monday
  13. Not to be an , but do you not think the lures will be more effective with HOOKS on them???????Just wondering.........
  14. Does one need to vent a battery box? I made one up tonight with the charger as part of the box, mounted on the outside, but I am wondering if I need to drill vent holes into it as well. Oh BTW, do not misplace the wingnut that come with the batteries!
  15. Me too, as opposed to IN the water...........
  16. Use the Power Pro with a Vanish leader I find that works very well.
  17. congrads!!!!!!!!!! what a nice spot!
  18. Thanks for the kind words. The boat is a Mattaue (sp?) made in Quebec. A company that is no longer in operation as I understand it. Just got the batteries today so now the question is.....What depth do I run the trolling motor at?
  19. I feel your pain.....
  20. Here is the self-designed anchor winch
  21. Well the bones are in except for the fish(structure)finder. Here is the before pic Here is the layout at the pilot's seat Here is the Bowmount aquired from Rangerguy
  22. You will not like to hear this, but the drywall in your basement will need to be cut out and replaced to at least a 2' height. As well, the studs and base plate will need to be disinfected to prevent any future health problems. It is not a fun thing, but you may want to contact your insurance broker about this flood. Black water clean up is a science all in itself. Good luck!
  23. Backcharge the cost of the rental to the marina that you are getting your new boat from.
  24. I salute you! I mean that in a good way, not my usual flip comments
  25. Thanks for doing the diagram, that was a good way to illustrate my idea. As for the mounting plate........cash is not the only thing that a boat takes more of than one plans .......Time is another. Getting the foam out is a huge PITA as I am determined to reinforce the bow. There is no overt flex now. and when I am done I want to be able to say the same thing. I have a 3/4 ply insert made now, just have to come up with a way to install it square and level so I can hang a storage compartment for ?????? after. Thanks for the advice !
