NF - Anyone know where I can get an aluminum plate?

When you mount the motor try to have it in the direct center of your bow, I did not do that and I regret that now. If you go to brafasco you can buy stainless steel fasteners relativley cheap -
John's report is fairly accurate, however there is one inaccuracy in the report. I did not crap out due to lack of beer consumption training, but rather due to the fact that I had laid over 300 square feet of laminate that day and fished for 4 hours. IMHO I was allowed to be tired, yes? John, when you go fishing is it usual for you to foul hook fish??? (Not that there is anything wrong with that.....) I have to say that I very much enjoyed the time we spent together and hope to do it again soon.

I wasn't there, but I would say it is these type of sites and people that cause these reports. WTG Dawson!

Or they have very large families.....

But there is no Tim Horton's there????

Perch is better IMHO, use that one on sunny days it will be more effective. On cloudy days use a painted finish, that is what some guy who knows WAY TOO much told me.

Try the Dunville dam basin, I was there last thursday and saw a boat at the center of the dam pullin em out one after another.

So THAT'S Moosebunks secret, he has a muse. Perhaps he should respond to the call of the sirens perched on the rocks.

Try fantastic for the tire ring, and rubbing compound for the scuff marks.

We are 4 - 5 miles south of you, and we are dry

Apparently there is a marina in Niagara Falls that has old boats they part out. As well, there is always Kijiji. Good luck with the project

Sheesh, you throw ONE guy overboard and it sticks with you the rest of your life....... A good time was had by all although Garry did have the highest fish count, however I won the clam count! Getting pulled over by the OPP was a good experience as it showed me that the boat prep was done properly, something I was not sure about.

Looks like a great time was had by all! As to your hair....grass doesn't grow on a busy street and besides there is always a hat.

20/60 means that you will have a more accurate "picture" of the water and bottom below the boat with the 20 degree sonar as it goes down in a tighter spread. The 60 degree beam will give you a general idea of the water and bottom surrounding the boat. RMS = Root mean square essentially the middle of the sine wave. It is the best descriptor of the power of the unit. Equate it to a car stereo power rating, if that helps. It is the average watts put out by the unit, after some fancy math. Your explanation is pretty much on the mark. Good luck with your choice!

You got a great sense of humour!
