I just returned from seeing this movie. I was deeply moved by this historical story. I would urge you all to see this before Nov 11, as it will give you a tiny glimpse of what that time was like. One thing that struck me was the fact that the entire audience remained in their seats in complete respectful silence as the credits rolled. That shows, in my opinion, just how powerful this movie is. Do take the time to see it!, and wear your poppies proudly.

It has to do with the mass, a mass of water in depth requires more energy to cool or warm up due to the fact that there is more to apply the change to. If you have a shallow baking dish beside a pot that are both full of water, with the same heat, which will boil or freeze faster? The shallow pan or the deep pot?

I just PM'ed the OP with a question, but realize it should be posed for everyone's benefit..... Is it OK to store deep cycle batteries in an unheated garage, where they will be subject to freezing temps? Thanks to the OP for this post, it is very helpful
