The walleye fishing last yr was a riot ..lasted well into mid August ..I don't concentrate on pike on the Spanish,I prefer Cutler or Huron for the big gators

I don't know about that resort, but I launch by blue heron resort to fish the Spanish a lot ..they are very busy and tidy looking place

I can't say it's been a horrible yr..as far as fishing it's been pretty great considering I'm learning a new area ..life's moments always seem to throw in the odd roadblock or speed bump ..roll with the punches and you can generally come out ahead ..that said I'm looking forward to 16 and all it has to offer ..happy new yr to everyone
