  8. well with bazillion dollar planes flying around trying to nab us reckless drivers and speeders, and the amount of cutbacks the goverment gives them they gotta ticket ya for every possible thing to stay alive
  9. is it a newer boat , you could be dealing with rotton floors transoms stringers if its glass ,Bad osmosis blisters, have you ever had experience with an engine ran in salt water, after a few yrs you cant get the bolts outta them, unless ya drove down and picked it up personally id walk away from it ,or atleast checked it over or paid for the survey then id have no trouble shipping it,anyhow good luck

  14. what pitch and Diameter was your orig prop, you may be to small and getting blowout,or you could have also got a prop with a bad hub which means is slipping
  15. Doc ill see you and Tonka out there,no crack of dawn poop thou HAHA

  17. nice the S Chassis was one of my favorites
  18. have you tried the relays, if ya trace the wires coming out of your trim unit and have a 12 v source, you can disonnect the plug and put a + and - to the terminals this will power the unit and reversing the unit will raise or lower the engine,it could also be your trim rocker switch has failed if ya wanna try it yourself
  19. YES thats the proof of ownership they wanna see thats another big fine ,they dont kid around we got a serious warning 3 yrs ago moving lumber in one of the smaller work boats the life jackets where under the front bow storage area covered with lumber he said they where not easily attainable and back then the fine was 220 ish,its an easy test why wait so long to get it,oh and great Pike nice to see
  20. the engine has thru hub EXHAUST,your exhaust has left over oil in it, it is a 2 stroke engine it dont burn as clean as the newer 4 strokes and such ,if your gearcase seals where leaking it would have drained out over winter and the fluid you removed would look like MILK not a sign of dark ,burnt or goldish oil left then your seals are gone
  21. on any giving engine outboard or I/O the stainless will always be more effecient no slip,no give max performance, better hole shot, top end,and up here on Georgian Bay when the bow dives in to a 4-6 ft wave it dont lug the engine it has the strength to maintain its rpm
  22. what engine, 5000 RPM depending on size hp you may be lugging it,I run a 15 or 17 SST AND A 15 OR 17 aluminum depending on where im going all last yr I ran the 15 SST and could just reach my max WOT RPM settings 5750-5800 with the 17 this yr I can only could pull 5350-5500 RPM from my 115 @ 43 MPH
  23. VRO is Variable ratio oiler or also known as damn Junk death to a otherwise great outboard
