  1. Lew opinions vary, but I won't mix products, I'll use stabil for longer term storage, and seafoam in day to day running as it has water removing, and cleaning propertys as well as stabilizing, but changing it up certainly can't hurt. in my 4-stroke sled (yammy) i use the yamaha fuel stablizer and conditioner so far 4 years no problems and it's cheap at 5 bucks a bottle
  2. sounds almost like a timing arm adjustment omc were known to stall on acceleration when out of adjustment
  3. what is the engine year and model could be a 2 minute adjustment
  4. Lew you should be outside enjoying paradise not playing on the puter at 9:40am i am stuck at work here or i would be out in the boat right now
  5. JJ I manage a active green and ross location as well as work in the back turning a wrench sometimes, no matter the deal i could give you on tires there isn't much margin in them ,anything I could save you you would use in time and fuel. Dans offer is genourous and he is local to you i would suggest you go see him, his prices are pretty much spot on to mine
  6. Isn't this were the term indian giver came from?
  7. looking at my catalouge and i am not seeing a listing for a LT tire for 1500 series dodge hemi sure it's not a p245/70r17?
  8. jj shop is in scarborough. as for the tire if you wanna off road capability the ltx m/s isn't a very good choice it's smooth long wearing decent in snow or rain but slippery in sand/gravel/mud. a/t tires are better suited to off road applications regardless of which brand but michelin goodyear and bridgestone all make good a/t tires there is the ltx a/t2 offroad tread but pricy looking 1320 all in
  9. no problem,I run goodyear silent armours on my z-71 so far so good they go through everything i have thrown at it. just did a 27 km hike into the woods through swamps rocks and the usual backroad stuff to get into a speckle lake no problems and if you want the wranglers they are the same price as the michelin in a 10-ply rating of 1220 on the road. there is another goodyear called the dura-trac that has gotten some great reviews and thats what i will put on next
  10. i could do michelin ltx m/s 2 for 1220 all in and there is a $60 rebate till may 22 on all michelin products
  11. Falkens are ok, my expierence is they wear quickly, what is your price range and size sure i can find something for you
  12. check all your connections for corrosion, again it may be the contacts in the motor itself or footpedal and I have dealt with boattech before nice guy
  13. great job, I made it about 2 hrs saturday morning got a few fish, but when wet, cold and getting blown around and you can see your house from the boat that has a hot shower, coffee and a running pellet stove it didn't take long to pull the chute. as for the weed growth it's slow for sure found some beds 7-9 ft just starting to take off another week or two should be awesome
  14. X2 on the nories frogs, best hook percentage of any frog i have used, so far only hirk's and kawartha lakes outdoors have been the only place i've seen them
  15. awesome for someone, thanks for posting
  16. i was told the same thing, pickeral point rd and ken reid rds are the boundry but it's enforced at the train track as a landmark that can be seen. to confusing at times i just fish from snug harbour and up
  17. thanks for the laugh
  18. it makes you wonder what's worth more a million dollars or all the nickels in the rlta heads
  19. Thanks for sharing, so.. where you taking me fishin? As much as i love these boats it's hard to give up the old ranger(maybe cause it's paid for, more likely that i don't have any money)
  20. clean abstract, darn I'm out. sounds like a good job for someone cliff
  21. thanks for the update, I know I have been enjoying having the boat out early
  22. been there my neigbourss now think me sitting in the boat is normal behaviour in the driveway
  23. way to sensitive of an issue, and people get to passionate about the issues surrounding a resource we all want to use, i try to educate when i am out and phone if that doesn't work I am not gonna get to riled by the fact the co or police don't respond it's disheartning but i did all i could do without getting confrontational with people and continue on fishing
  24. sounds like you squeeked a piston good luck on your repair
  25. I feel your pain brother, i have a hds8 unit and get a little overwhelmed at what it can do
