  1. Maybe saving the keel from getting banged up while retrieving. I like the self centering ones better.
  2. Saw the first ones yesterday afternoon.
  3. That's where I got mine.
  4. There's no doubt that white white tip and cap is off a tube of Prep H
  5. It never rains on Brian, it just pours whities.
  6. As soon as Health Canada was mentioned I knew we are in trouble. Fish farms, Lyme disease, etc, etc.
  7. Was there yesterday, if it does come up another 12cm, there won't be much beach and likey the waves will wash onto the road.
  8. Let us know how happy you are with this item.
  9. About GoPro, what the others said, and way over priced. If you google "action cameras", you will come up with pages and pages of them. Also do a review of action cameras, there's a lot of reviews, pro's and con's and some list the top 10, etc. Some may claim 4K at 30 FPS(frames per second). That's borderline watching the old flickering 16mm movie projectors. The human eye "looses" the flickering around 24 FPS, at 30 it's still old technology. At 60 FPS it's very good, but you're back to 1080P or 720P, lower video quality. If you have a Henry's photo shop close by, drop in and see them. At $49, the one Alan posted would be fine for most people that aren't expecting a IMax theatre.
  10. Works like a charm, I used 3M5200, you'd need a jack hammer to get it off.
  11. I don't know if any of the techies can decipher it but my Rogers router has a 2.4G and a 5G light that flashes.
  12. So you want me to pee in my pants.
  13. I would call it something else but I don't want to give vegetables a bad name.
  14. More HP than brains.
  15. A comment like "we can laugh about it" tells me everything I need to know.
  16. You also have to take the mindset into consideration. If the pond is full of alligators, you don't go swimming in there. If you build by the water, sooner or later you're going to get wet. I lay a fair part of the blame on the local municipalities that allowed construction there in the first place.
  17. There's a lot of money involved and of course the greedy.
  18. Well my neighbours got an old Weber cast aluminum one, it's been outside for at least 15 years and still going strong. mines a real Broil King and a bit discoloured but will probably last me a long while yet. I despise those tin can models, you see more on the side of the road in spring than garbage.
  19. Well after reading some other articles it appears 5G isn't all that great, doesn't have the same capability as 3 and 4G without increasing the power. It would appear a lot more towers would have to be erected and coverage outside the urban zone would be useless. https://www.extremetech.com/mobile/290069-t-mobile-millimeter-wave-5g-will-never-materially-scale-outside-dense-urban-areas
  20. Snowed and now blowing like crazy, 70k wind.
  21. I'd just use the other leg.
  22. Unfortunately palms have already been greased and once you let the proverbial genie out of the bottle, it's already too late. They're already talking 6-10G. Humans are going to electrically fry themselves into stupidity.
  23. He working for DeBeers in the mines?
  24. Almost looks like that would be the right size. Matter of fact they actually make kits for string trimmers.
