  1. Thanks for the report. Your imagery of the fate of nature in the face of progress was a real downer for breakfast because its true.
  2. Need someone to get out wit on Sat Wet wading river smallies somewhere in SW ontario .PM me or post here
  3. Glad to see the Boaters License making our waters safer. No card or course will prevent stupidity.
  4. Thanks for the excellent report and pics I was shown that method of cleaning pike years ago also on the French and now prefer to dine on them and let the other more sought after fish go. Plus its revenge for getting me and the boat slimed.
  5. Try Everetts Northern Excursions or Martins Camp on Restoule Good musky, bass, pike ok lake trout and walleye fishin.
  6. Give Lovesick Lake a try right next to Buckhorn
  7. Downtown Haliburton My son doing the same
  8. There are tons of brown bullheads in Wrigley. As a teen my friends and I would bike out there in the evening and fish till the wee hours of the morning using just a worm and a hook. We would fill a five gallon pale with 8 to 10 inch mudpout and spend the rest of the morning cleaning them. Should do it again some time actually fried pout is awesome.
  9. And Hazel though its more of a pond than a lake
  10. Commanda has no musky but the rest of the system does. Good Bass, and pike. Okay walleye and lake trout. If you want to fish Stormy Clear Hazel or Lennon you'll have to buy a pp pass to launch your boat. Any other ?? Pm me.
  11. If your willing to do the drive this of coarse is a spectacular Idea. Kokoko is one of my absolute favorite places to camp and you can drag a small boat into it with hardly any work.
  12. Yup I was going to suggest RESTOULE PP. Call up Bing at Martin's Camp he rents boats. Get a site right on the lake if you can.
  13. I never bathe so I smell and have spots of dirt all over me
  14. The incident occurred while on a canoe trip in the wild up in the Nakina area. I think I'm going to go with infected insect bite as I have about 500 or so bites from mosquito's, black flies, and no-seeums on my body. As for spider bites you should have seen my bite from a hobo spider 3 years ago Very poisonous spider a week of IV treatments and 3 months of profession wound care and I still have a scar the size of a golf ball on my abdomen. Here's a pic of what a hobo spider bite looks like (not mine) http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/Etw35rdFwDJiap2MLhourg Not an exotic location either just right here in my bed in good old KW
  15. I've got a bit on my index finger I've never seen before. It's a dark spot surrounded by a blister It's kinda hard to the touch but not tender or anything. I'm assuming I got bit by a tick. My question is Do they burrow right inside?? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rh6u-eO2ilk Then again it might just be a blister from all that paddling.
  16. Just got back from a trip to Nakina/Geraldton, Hearst The walleye fishing in Fushimi PP was unbeatable definately worth a couple of days. Ware the bears, saw 13 on our trip, 3 in one day in our campsite. They weren't aggressive or anything as soon as they saw it was humans they bolted pretty quick and didn't even come back for a nightime visit although I was so hammered they could have ate me and I wouldn't have known. A sample of the pike fishing we had http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lowpZrHSxe8 Oh and the no=seeums are out in full force I'm covered in bites.
  17. I'd bronze that tooth and make a necklace of it that would be cool Oh topwater bite awesome!
