What port is the Canadian ice breaker leaving from....I don't want to be out there sitting at my hole and have a large crack finish my day of fishin.....lol.

Talk about a cornary...geez you guys and your gravy. Man that gravy and biscuit deal sure looks appetizing...NOT. Eat that and you can feel your heart skipping and missing a beat or two. Boy oh boy I'm sure glad I don't eat stuff like that....I'd be 400lbs and dead by now. Doesn't anyone eat healthy stuff....how about popcorn or granola bars or just fruit for a snack. I know I feel healthier just talking about eating healthier....lol.

The warm will prolly wash away the safe ice. If its startin to make noises already then pcs will begin to break off and it will refreeze at night. The overall structure will become weaker and if you put a pile of guys out there this weekend then you could have a recipe for disaster. Be careful out there everyone...and you sure won't see me out there when its like that.

I don't think anyone can accurately predict it but if you go prepared for it...well you know.

I work for a company that distributes stuff and that is one of the things we do. You can get them at Crappy Tire.....now as far as how good are they...well......they don't last more than 2-3 yrs, they are cheaply made, they get covered with snow and yes you can't see out of it, they are over priced usually, flimsy, and plainly put a waste of $....on the other hand for $75 not a bad deal to giver a try if you were thinking about it at all. I think you have already made up your mind anyway but good luck.

My wife and I are headed there for the afternoon and eve this Sat. Hope we can post something to brag about or at least to fit in the frying pan. Gonna go with the proven and informed hut guys' info.

Well as cold and windy as it was today, a good number of ice anglers were out. Close to 100 fish were caught if I remember correctly. My wife and I didn't have much luck finding any today in our usual spots but some did ok. The Mrs. ended up catching one of the freebie hats they threw out to the crowd. We didn't win anything in the draws either but the sausage was good....MMM.

Maybe the eyes have moved to their pre-spawn holdings and are only feeding on something noone is offering, or at short times. ?????????

I wonder how many I could on the back of the AGUSTAWIND. Hmmmm. Can you say overkill.

I will spend Zippo...ain't goin this time. I'm coaching the boyz in an oldtimers hockey tourney this weekend and also fishing on Sunday at Valens Ice Derby.

Yup the ice hiways are all open but there is some heavy duty snow on top. Seen several guys get stuck, sleds pullin huts and ATVs and a few pick up trucks all bottoming out and plowing snow. If ya got tank tracks use em.
