This is the latest i've kept my boat out and was wondering if I should be doing anything to protect my engine while stored with the temps dipping around the freezing mark? My boat is in a garage soim hopping its not getting bellow zero. Also what to do if im pulling the boat out after a days fishing and the temps are sub zero? Thanks Steve

Hi all, I'm heading down to LSC this Thursday night and was looking for some advice on accomedations. Bass haven would have been great but they have a two night minimum. The cheaper the better. When I start my motor I get a random alarm sound coming from the throtel? It goes from a few beeps in neutral to a long beep when I excellerate. The motor seems to be running fine. Just wondering what could be the problem or is it just a loose wire?

Just wondering if it's advisable to use the d rings if that's what they are called to tow tubers/water skiers on my fiberglass bass boat? When I say d ring I refer to the two rings on the back of the boat that are ment to tie the boat down to the trailer My buddy is telling me we can grab a y rope and it will be fine. I'm just nervouse to risk a week of musky fishing to entertain people. Thanks

8'- 8'6 heavy or XH makes life alot easyer casting bigger baits and figure 8's. I have a Abu c3 6501 with and add on power handle and an Abu Record that comes with the power handle and the only problem I have had with both of them is loosing the bolt that hold on the handle. Most likely form the vibration while troling.

I tried calling them and searched the web for store hours with no luck. Are they open on the weekend? I lost a nut on my Abu Garcia Record, the main one that holds on the power handle. Where else could I get this part fast? Looking to get back on the water Monday.

I'll second the saltys. Rock solid and adjustable. Bps carrys some salty models but I had to go to JBS to get the one that secures to the gunnel

I think you just need to sync the foot pedal with the motor. Plug the motor in then hold down the plus and minus button for a few seconds. You should hear a long beep then away you go. Look in the trouble shooting chapter in the owners manual.
