  1. Wow 10 MPH? I've had trouble with baits at 6 mph. Nice fish man!!!
  2. Yeah, I would of said mid 30's. Your arms are extended toward the camera to make it look like a 40's fish. When I take a newbie out I get them to do that pose. Helps thier memories tell a good fishing story.
  3. But then there would be no time to give speeding tickets or time to play slap ass at the station.
  4. C3 is a good starter but spend an extra $50 and get the Abu Record. Much easyer free spool button and a power crank handle that makes the long days less wear on the body.
  5. Man!! I have always wanted to see that.
  6. Musky fishing on Baptise is real tough. With pike in the system for over 10 years the numbers are way down. I usually target pike when fishing Baptise with good results. PM me if your heading to Baptiste and ill put you on some fish. As for your area my best advise is look at a map, find some smaller lakes around you, then google the lake name and follow it with the word muskie or musky. That way you'll know if there are musky in the water and smaller lakes are easyer to figure out. Start inside the weed line then out side the weed line, troll open water, look for broken rocks coming off the shore, wind blow islands etc. Sunny days are great for finding structure but over cast choppy days are best. Also check the moon phases Good luck
  7. My trolling motor has 2 deep cycle 12v battaries in series. Both are one season old and have never given me a problem. Today I went to charge one of the battaries and the charger had no resonse when I hooked it up? All the other battaries when hooked up to the charger would show volts or percentage of charger. I tested the battarie with my little minn cota voltometer and it showed 1/2 charge? Is there something wrong with my battarie or charger? Thanks
  8. I called animal control to get some coons out of my garage and they wanted $$$ and all they would do is release them outside my house to find thier way back in the next night. Private guys were in the 4-$500 range and they can only by law drop them off 1km away. From what I have been told a racoon will have a range of 10km. My solution was to trap them one by one and drop them off in the country 15km away at the risk of a fine. Making some davy crockett hats is another solution
  9. Thanks for all the replys. I'm looking to keep the drive under 7 episodes of Dora the Explorer(3 1/2 hours drive) from Toronto.
  10. I'm looking for a family resort for myself, the wife and our 2 year old on a body of water that has muskies. I was thinking Gbay 30,000 islands area but I'm open to any sugestions. Thanks
  11. Nice fish!!!
  12. Give the same guy a rubber chicken and you would get the same result.
  13. Best show in my book
  14. Crappy tire was out of sport stickers on the pike opener so I had to get a conservation. Less fish to clean I guess.
  15. I have my 75lb motorguide wireless on a 24v set up in series, 80amp marine breaker between motor and battery on the positive line. Breakers arnt cheap and it hasn't tripped yet but worth the money
  16. It's a junker Mike but it puts you on the fish and kept us out of the freezing cold water last fall lol! If you get another weekday off its my boat, my lake. Did you get the Trinidad?
  17. WFN gets me through the winter then I cancel for the summer. I loved the first few seasons of musky hunter, I found them full of good info. Now I feel like all I lean is how important it is to have multiple cowgirls that are now like $35 each!! I guess they need to pass the cost onto us to have to watch 30 mins of product placement and commercials. Ive learnt more from OFC and ofners than any tv show. Support your local guy. There are guys on this board that make cowgirl/double 10s for half the price
  18. Congrats Pete!!!
  19. Nice. Spring 2012?
  20. Thank you
  21. Thanks bigbuck, I'm building a box for the deck and speakers. I have a 15 breaker hope that will be enough. From what I understand black is the ground and should be hooked to the negative. Yellow is the power line to positive, I'll attach breaker here. And rred also goes to positive. I think that's the ignition line
  22. Not 100% but I didn't see any when I was browsing the other day
  23. I'm looking to install my old car deck and speakers on my boat. Question? When running the red, yellow and back wires to the battery do I need a breaker? Also is it ok to hook up 14 gage wire to a battery? All the battery rings I saw in the store were rated for 10-12 Gage wire. Thanks
