  1. If you have an iPhone, get the ifish Ontario app and you can do a proximity search for different spieces.
  2. I looked for a used ATV from October till early december and found a lot of over priced junk out there. Kijiji is the best place to look for a used bike but you need to be on top of it as the good deals go fast. I ended up at a dealer allterraindomain.ca Rob was a real good salesman and I hate salesmen. He sells new and used atvs and is a great source of info to help put you in the right atv for your needs. For the used market this year in my price range I did pretty well, I got a 06 Polaris Sportsman 500HO red flare package with new 27" lpt mud lite tires, warn winch and plow mount, 400 miles and under 100 hours for $4200 mint condition. What I learned from my search Stay away from the no name brands like baja Polaris are heavy witch is good for pushing snow, not desighned as well as the big names if your hard core, nice looking bikes, costs a little less. yamaha brute force is a sweet bike Honda has very good bikes but at the top of the price range atv.com is the best site for research Always check if the odometer is in miles or kms Steve
  3. What a beast! Congrats on the dule PBS!
  4. Sweet boat!! and one crazy first boat at that! Congrats. You can insure your boat under your home insurence. Mine cost $10 a month and it paid out $6500 on a new motor when it was stolen.
  5. Right now im looking at two atvs. 2008 suzukie kingquad 450axi with 2000km mud lite tires. Needs a new rim, day of my labour straitening an A rod. $3600 2005 poaris sportsman 500 HO special edition, mint mud lite tires, only 600km $4100
  6. It's always about the details! Nice call fiisherman!
  7. I cant belive how much competition im up against this time of year buying an atv? Where have you been looking in the states? There is a guy in Niagara ont that has good inventory but im sure you could do better for the price private. I'll post the name next time I come across it.
  8. Congrats and good luck on the new venture!
  9. I think im safe from the run of the mill scams on kijiji, I bought a used boat years back and ran into them all. Im more worried of running into a guy that oppted for the pay $100 a week for the rest of you life plan, he sells it to me for below market value then I go to register the bike and find out it has a lean on it?
  10. Seen some atvs on the web that seem under priced? Started to wonder if its possible the atv could have a lean on it? Anyone know about the legality of that or had any experience?
  11. Yeah I figured id stuggle with a big dump. I have access to a full size pickup with plow in an emergency. Speed is key for me, I need to be cleared by 7am so the faster I can get done = more sleep.
  12. Crazy fish! Big boat to
  13. Fair enough, my blower sucked.
  14. Blowers are great when the snow is dry and if your only doing a driveway. When clearing a wider space you end up blowing the same snow 3,4 times.
  15. I have 2 of the smaller units. Use screw tightener on the bolts cause a season of wind will loosen them. I'll second the auger comment. High winds will bend those thick poles and trust me they are even worse to put together the second time. My tarps have taken a beating over the last year and a bit, small tears all over fixed with duct tape. Great cheap option but if you have cash pass.
  16. I think I earned my man card last year when I srcapped the snowblower and shoveled my 30 space car park and horseshoe driveway that has an aditional 10 car spaces by hand for the entire season. |Saved alot of time and stress. Now I have a little cash I can cut down my time by about 5 hours and clear the first snow with a rock glass of scotch in one hand. Going to check out a 04, 450 Yamaha kodiak this weekend!!
  17. Looks freekin sweet! Might have to switch hands for that one.
  18. Some great info there. Thank you. I know Honda, Polaris and Atric cats are top brands but how about the rest? Suzukie, Baja etc
  19. Looking to buy my first atv to plow my property. Any suggestions on makes, plow blades, tires etc would be great. My budget is between 3-$4000 Thanks
  20. Check what fish migrate the area in the time of year your going. Ive been 3 times and each time i checked there were no big game fish in the area that time of year so i didnt spend the big bucks on a deep sea charter. The falls are ok, the booze cruize back is a blast. The zip line tour is way more fun.
  21. Very cool. Kinda looks fake?
  22. Awesome job! 3 fish on your first muskie trip is out standing! Classy move passing the producing bait to your buddy. Good luck on breaking the 40 mark.
  23. Congrats on the PB!!
