  1. We have NO AC, it gets fairly warm in the summer but certainly livable. In the winter we try to heat by wood about 50% of the time, in those cases the upstairs is cool, but very comfy for sleeping. When we heat with the furnace it is still cool upstairs and generally cool in the house. We keep the main area around 20 and the balance of the home cooler than that. It's a good idea to warm up a plate in this house prior to eating your toast! Mind you, our home is over 100 years old. Nobody has had air conditiong and central heat was certainly an afterthought. We love it.

  3. there is a GREAT little mexican restaurant that you should hit. YUMMY. Don't know what it's called but should be the only one downtown.
  4. I drove through a couple of camps just East of Hawk Junction one winter as I was passing through. If I recall 30 or four of'em up there. Two are almost right on the highway.
  5. I just watched the Liddell fight. Did it get stopped a little early? Seemed that way to me.
  6. Hey 4x4 I know no other way to get a hold of you. you and Sally are more than welcome again this year to watch me almost burn the house down with the fondue. He (4x4bassin) was a surprise guest last year and made me proud to be an OFNER. KYLE, DANO you guys are probably not around...if you are I am at the corner of Crozier and Gier. All the lights will be on!!!
  7. Run a small company selling wire mesh and perforated metal into industrial filtration and architectural applications. Believe it or not, I LOVE WHAT I DO!!!

  9. that is not ice, but a fast thin waterfall!!! those eyes you see may be the polar bears that passed away at Metro Zoo and are haunting the grounds. Believe it or not, they died of the west nile!

  11. He gets excited when new things happen. he clinches his teeth and lips, can't buy a smile from the kid in that situation.
  12. This is the man relaxing after a hard morning working the gift pile! And then fishing with Papas new toy, it is pretty neat to watch this thing wiggle about in the water. Thanks for looking, I know The Coop would appreciate it. Merry Christmas Everyone!!!
