For anyone wondering the WHY is my shingled roof only lasting half of the lifetime given, the answer is simple, ventilation. The air in your attic should always be the same air temperature as outside, if you notice your roof melts snow while its still cold out and your roof won't hold the snow without melting it, increase the ventilation because it does the same/opposite in summer and helps curl those shingles up, Tl;Dr proper insulation and venting will extend the lifetime of your shingles

I just had to laugh when I heard this on the radio, not at the situation but she passed away due to a stroke and her parents have blamed the chemo she was receiving as the reason for the stroke saying it was a side affect. When I was in grade 3 my best friend got leukemia, went through several years of chemo before he was finally all done (still goes for a yearly check) and he's with us today and I think I can thank modern medicine for it

Hey everyone and merry Christmas! Hope your days are all going great. For Christmas this year my girlfriend,brother and his girlfriend all decided we would go ice fishing together for a day instead of doing presents we'd do an adventure together, so we're looking at finding an operator on simcoe, not really particular on species just an operator that has a good track record for keeping you busy as I know my girlfriend and more than likely my brothers will get restless without something going on haha. So with all that being said if you were choosing a day out on simcoe (or somewhere within reasonable distance for a day trip) where and who would you be going with? Had some issues this afternoon with them, looking at upgrading to the new nexus 6, I'm off contract with them after being with them 6 years on my mobile, and recently with the switch my home. ended up going to the customer retentions they offered me the "best value in market" which was $30/month over what I'm currently paying for the same thing, not to mention they still want the $300 for the phone up front, that all played out would be an extra $1058 over 2 years for the same thing just to upgrade my phone, so I think my best option here is to keep my $77/month plan and buy a phone outright. unless of course I can somehow get the phone over the 2 years at the same plan I'm on, as my girlfriend recently upgraded to the Samsung s5 and was able to keep her plan (identical to mine) no problems

girlfriend has a tri fold on her ranger, does the trick and has rods you can lock in to keep them all stacked to the back window when needed
