  1. * Bump * Anyone interested?
  2. I'll be visiting Sudbury next Mon-Fri (Aug 6-10) for work and I hope to get out in the evening to do some fishing. I plan to drive to some of the smaller lakes outside of Sudbury since Ramsey lake looks like it has a lot of private property surrounding the lake... Let me know if you want to do some fishing. I'll be bringing up the bass/pike/pickerel gear If interested, let me know and we can exchange phone #'s to get in touch once I am up there. Thanks! Tony
  3. No photos this time, someone usually brings a camera so I didn't bother to bring mine. I think the next swill at the Firehall will work out better since we can stroll down to the pier afterwards and cast glow spoons for Salmon. Now that will be report worthy! Tony
  4. Thumbs up!
  5. Had a great feed of wings and pints at the Firehall. A great time as alway, met Sonny, BLR and Bowshep for the first time and saw some of the usual suspects too. Until next time!... Tony
  6. All those lures he has and he keeps catching them on 1 simple Mepps...
  7. Aren't you retired yet Kelvin?! I thought you decided your only job was going to be to harass fish... See you next time. Tony
  8. Nice pic Dan! lol I think those are Ling Cod though, as opposed to their freshwater pals the Burbot/Ling. Tony
  9. Sounds good! I've got us reserved for 15 people so that should cover it. Tony
  10. Sam went fishing!!! Glad to see you getting out bud. All work and no play makes Sam a dull boy How is business out that way? Hoping to see you in the Fall! Tony
  11. Did you try to call an Evinrude dealer/service center?
  12. If not, make a trip of it like you said Cliff, September is a better chance of catching some night time Chinooks on Glow spoons anyway.
  13. Crikee! Now those are truly 'Toothy Critters' hehe I noticed that the guide was always closest to the business end on those sharks in the pics, even the little ones. I think we have all been tagged once or twice from a Northern Pike or Musky, but that is a whole different sense of caution when dealing with those muscles with teeth, aka Sharks. I am surprised that the sharks were even brought on-board, that guides insurance must be through the roof! Looks like an awesome adventure, and I can't wait to see more video footage!!! Tony
  14. HUM = Good! Although if it isn't humming and you're catching fish, don't change a thing Tony
  15. The IPS 2 hulls on Lunds are designed to take a pounding in the waves...but Lund boats are not cheap. Here is a quick reference for questions you should have the answers to when searching for a boat to purchase... It assumes you are going with an Aluminum hull though http://www.lundboats.com/boatbuyingguide.html Tony
  16. They should highlight that a bit more, all the screenshots seem to show a colour spectrum of light orange directly to shades of purple Tony
  17. Humminbird 585c http://www.humminbird.com/products.asp?id=643 In addition to all the other options, I really like the ability to change the back light colour. Rather than night-vision screwing white, you can select black or navy blue backrounds. Still all the visibility without the blinding white lit screen that is horrible at night. Lowrance seems to have a very loyal following, but compare prices and options as with any semi-large purchase. On Lowrance, do their colour units show anything but purple/orange? Tony
  18. Looking good TJ! I remember the first images of your camp, nothing but forest, it's coming along bit by bit, soon you'll just be relaxing and enjoying it. Tony
  19. Congrats Gerritt! You must be totally pumped and smiling ear to ear Something like 200+ more sleeps until I can feel that rush... Tony
  20. Good fishing! I noticed you were on the GOSD leaderboard for a short time...hope you can another heavy that will qualify you for the fish-off! Tony
  21. I'm also eagerly waiting an update on the Kawartha Carp situation... BTW..."I've caught a few at the mouth of the Credit on Cleos, but this was draggin' 'em through deeper water? " Ditto in the bay. Tony
  22. 9' rod, 6lb test and some small crankbaits..have at 'er!
