  1. Try this link: Cottage Link
  2. I only use the standup in October and the whole thing really gets in the way of casting and is in the way when folded up at the back. Buy a travel cover if the boat didn't come with one. I put it on every night whether camping or tieing up to the dock. It is far more handy and funtional.
  3. Moose; Outside of talking to Wayne, you really should contact a Legend Dealer; preferably the one in Innisfil since they do warranty repair work outside of the Sudbury head office location. Did the person that you purchased the boat from give you the warranty paperwork? There is a declining warranty that is good for about 10 years. The crack on the splash rail looks more serious then the one on where the rivets are. It looks like a stress crack.
  4. Norm; your best bet is the Moon Basin as you mentioned. There is an abundance of Pike there and all of the waterway is relatively protected for boating since most of the bays under less then a half mile across. Clear Lake, Little Whitefish and Big Whitefish hold mostly Lake Trout and require down riggers or copper line.
  5. Moosehead; send Wayne (Irishfield) a PM and ask for his advice. Nobody here knows more about metal then Wayne.
  6. Whether I check out this board at work or at home (both are high speed), any page that I try to open is very slow. I've made no changes to my browser settings. Anyone else notice this?
  7. What a great day out for you and your son Mike! There is nothing like time on the water with your kids. They will always remember it!
  8. I to am still using the saline nasal spray since the operation in order to help heal the scar tissue more quickly by keeping everything moist. It does work and does not cause the gaging problem but it is not a rinse. It might help though.
  9. I had a nose operation a few weeks ago in order to open up my one nasal passage more, but before this took place, the doctor had me try an off the shelf nasal rinse to see if it would help my breathing by flushing out the nostrils. God it was terrible doing this. The solution would flow down the back of my throat and into my mouth making me gag. The chemicals used in the solution are perfectly safe, so I would recommend trying this rather then a home remedy if you want to try a nasal rinse.
  10. I put this on the desk of co-workers when they return from vacation;
  11. Boy, everybody is really spread out, but not too many are fishing the Great Lakes next weekend.
  12. Great machine Lew. The bigger the screen, the easier it is to read when the boat is moving, or if the weather is poor.
  13. Good luck to you as well Wopper. Are you camping?
  14. I personally am going to head up to the Moon Basin on GBay May 6th to try for the elusive eye's. I know that it is real hit and miss up there, but like to give it another try every few years. Often to opener is too late there because the fish have moved out and are hard to locate, but this year everything is really late, so I am hoping to nail them near the spawning areas.
  15. Craz, what does your M.I.L. have to do with it? Are you using her as chum?
  16. I hope that you really enjoy the new ride! The first scratch is the hardest part of getting a new boat. My poor wife made ours the first day out.
  17. Nice pics Mike. Where is your cabin? I'm having my getaway dug in the backyard right now.
  18. Here is another good link: Cottagelink
  19. I recognize those two guys. That is Billy and Bob, aka Billybob!
  20. Holy shopping Wayne! It looks like the store is in your shop. By the way, do you have a PC or laptop in the shop? You seem to have an aweful lot of posts. LOL
  21. Okay, I have to say it; "There's one born every minute!"
  22. I'm with you Taper. I could never get mine to work at speeds over 15MPH with the flat bottom transducer that they sell with the Humminbirds
  23. I have dealt with a place in Bobcaygeon called Lakeside Sewing on many occasion. She does all of the custom work for Buckeye Marina. It is 1.2 hours from Newmarket and worth the drive. Give her a call. Here is the link Lakeside
  24. Usually ice does not sink. It crystalizes and breaks up into extremely small pieces.
