  14. Mmmmmmm, gosh they all sound fantastic. Thanks all, I'm going to re-read all these again and see if I can come to some decision. Joey
  15. I'm trying to find a good recipe for BBQ'd baby back ribs. I've tried a few and they just don't cut it. All the recipes on the internet just seem so bland and/or too time consuming. I don't want them to be messy and wet with BBQ sauce. I want kind of dry ribs (maybe a nice rub recipe), but not overly dried out. I've tried the smoker and that didn't appease my appetite for them either, as they were too dry (and the smoker cacked half way through and I had to bbq them after that). I want to make them for my dad on father's day and he's a really good cook, so I'd like to impress! So I appeal to the chefs out there, what is your fav BBQ rib recipe? Thanks in advance. Joey
  16. Wow Eastfisher, its cool that they know how to drive the boat like that. How are they at docking Joey
  17. Sounds like you made out okay. Thanks for the report. Joey
  18. Awesome once again, thanks for the trip down memory lane. I see 8th avenue hasn't changed much, except for those things that look like big salon hairdryers, what they heck are those supposed to be, retro art? Joey
  19. Try Gull lake down by Miners Bay. There's even a beach there right off the highway so she can go swimming if she gets bored. I've personally never fished there (I've fished the big part of the lake from a boat) but Paul's nephew has and has caught fish. Good luck Joey
  20. Way to go Smokey, congrats. Always a pleasure to read your posts. I noticed mine slip past 3000 last week and hoped nobody would notice, especially my boss Joey
  21. I know, it just needs to get out for awhile right Joey
  22. Well I'm glad the camera was not a jinx. Those are some pretty nasty wounds as you say on that fish, and pretty fresh too. Wonder what caused them. Looks like a prop almost. Great report and I'll tell ya, I don't miss hangovers one little bit either. Joey
  23. I feel your pain B. Just starting to get rid of the sting from Saturday. We did find the sunblock in the boat, ........yesterday I knew it was there somewhere!! Joey
  24. B, that hat is actually a Tilley, and they are darned expensive. Got him that for his birthday last year. Did you know they come with a lifetime warranty. Even if you lose it, you only have to pay half price for a replacement. As for the shirt, Paul makes fun of it every time I wear it, with Mercer plastered all over the backside and then ...gasp... Yamaha all over it Joey
  25. Gosh I'd love too, but my cat has about another year and he'd be pretty ticked off with me making his golden years miserable. Good luck in your search hon, it must be very hard on you and your family. Joey
