  6. Looks like it was a real nice time away. Excellent pictures and some nice bass there! Joey
  7. We fished it one long weekend a few years back, it was a tough go. I think we only ended up catching a few smallies in the shallow weedbeds. We marked tons of fish down deep in the deeper areas, and assume they were lakers and whities, but couldn't get them to bite our lines. That's all the advice I can give ya, sorry. Joey
  8. My mom and aunt both have short hair and feel it is just easier to take care of. That's all

  16. Well Paul and I are a team, and fish together every chance we get! I wouldn't be able to stand not fishing by reading a book or tanning, it would drive me nuts. I'd jones As for your question about a women's forum, I don't think it would fly IMO, but then a hen party has never been my cup of tea! No offence, just my personal preference. Joey
  17. LOL, Paul was figuring out where we could mount them as it went by Thanks everyone, I'm sure bushed from all that sunshine!!
  18. Looks like an excellent day on the water for you Emil, quite the score We toyed with going to the Blue Zone, but decided against it. We kept marking bait balls and just kept hitting them (well, in between traffic). Nice going!! Joey

  23. Headed down to the big lake today for some salmon, but it seems the trout were out to play, well caught 3 trout, one shaker salmon. We were obviously having a better day than this guy I had the first fish on, a decent trout, but we lost it at the net (damned net boy) Paul was up next and got a 29 incher but we didn't take a picture, then I was up and got one about the same, 28 inches. This is our next boat Boy, did it send some big waves our way tho This guy was entertaining the masses at the marina. This was our take home for the day. When we got back to the marina, a Ministry of Natural Resources guy came over and asked how we did and if we kept any. We told him our catch and he wanted to see the salmon. He said they were taking stock and wanted samples of scales and to see if it was a natural fish, which it was. He said that they figured the natural ones were going to be about 25% but were pleasantly surprised that they were coming in at 45% Anyhow, nice day to be on the water, a bit of a breeze to keep us cool, which unfortunately lead to my nasty sunburn as it didn't feel like I was getting too much sun. Not complaining tho Joey
  24. The night bite strikes again Nice fish!! Joey
