We were at my friends place over looking the Glenora ferry on the weekend. I took some pictures of the boats fishing the Reach. It was sunny but the temp was about -13 Celsius most of the day. Hope you guys got some. The cottage is about 100 metres above the Bay, take a look at the seagull in theses two shots.

What's your boat look like? I'll be at my friends place over looking the Glenora ferry. My wife keeps telling me it's "not a fishing trip" but I'll still sneak a rod or two in the back of the car.

Yep, settings right under the Mapquest logo, don't forget to save the new setting. Personally I've been using Goggle maps more lately. The detailed satellite photos of the some of the "bigger" cities are quite amazing (in a peeking through the neighbours window sort of way).

Photos can be "shoped" by just about anybody now. In the pre digital days this was harder (but still posible). With the right lens and the right positioning an image can be "distorted". Just take a look at the one guys fingers in the horizontal musky shot. Some people will always be there to nay-say, even if the fish is killed for varification. You might be better off in the long run to take photo or two, release the beast and leave it at that. They're both big fish that are not swimming anymore.

Birds of prey in urban areas are more comon than most people think. Some of them will stake out bird feeders just waiting for "dumb", "slow" and well fed city birds. You'll sometimes hear stories of small dogs and cats being taken as well, I've not seen it, but like all urban legends it has enough reason to be belivable. Keep your camera and binocs by the window.

I will guarantee that they will catch a lot of fishermen. I'd buy one of each right now.

Pack your woollies and use your snow tires, the perch fishing can be hot in the marina however.

Our friend's parents have a cottage/ house just above the ferry at Glanora. I took some pictures in September. We won't be back until early December. They did their renovations in the fall Ferries crossing at dusk Ferry crossing back. It's the place at the top. BTW, there is a lake up there.

You said "tons". I see 5 names. Anderson has been retired 10 years? He's not in yet, but he might. He was a very clean player ;-) Ciccarelli has been eligible for the hall for 5 years maybe? He might get in. He won the Lady Byng like a half dozen times didn't he? Gilmour darn near always lead his teams in fewest penalty minutes ;-) All three had good/great careers and may all make it to the HHoF, that doesn't then infer that Lindros is undeserving. Goalies are difficult to compare to skaters. Lindros was the dominate force when on the ice. Many deserving members of the HHoF can't have that said about them. I hated Lindros the player. Not liking a player should have very little, if any, baring on being in the HHoF. Not liking a player has everything to do with being a fan. The two need to be kept separate. Stated again: Federco, Gillies, MacDonald and Neely are in already.
