  1. That is a very pretty lake. Nice fish too.
  2. Police investigating after nets cut at fish farm in Little Current. http://www.cp24.com/news/police-investigating-after-nets-cut-at-fish-farm-1.926184
  3. That is a very cool piece of history as well then.
  4. Very cool. Likely 40 proof? As to the office hours the Doctor was likely out making house calls during the day and maybe rounds at a hospital.
  5. At the risk of opening a can o worms: Any idea what type of shark that is?
  6. Well, I guess the only good thing is that you found them. Maybe you could tell yourself you'd have been skunked anyway?
  7. Nothin good happens after the sentence "Here, hold my beer."
  8. Your six friends look awful clean. Sure you weren't punked? I though I had heard something about the top finishers qualifying for another event?
  9. What were some of the finishing times?
  10. Ya it's not just population numbers that make a store want to open a new outlet. The entire province of Saskatchewan has just over a million people. You don't need to draw too big of a circle around the gta to get as many people.
  11. I was thinking about re-writing it and have the final line read Outboard won't start..... Lost a real big fish today.... Broke my favorite rod....

  13. I was going to say "I like long rods for panfish" but after Musky Mike I guess I should say I like medium long rods for panfish. I like a 7 foot light action rod and a good reel. With 2 spools this can be a good walleye jig rod as well as a small stream trout combo too. I am willing to pay more money for a sensitive rod.
  14. That's a spruce tree unfortunately. Look up spruce budworm.
  15. http://www.nugget.ca/2012/08/17/blue-green-algae-in-callander-bay Blue-green algae in Callander Bay Nugget Staff Friday, August 17, 2012 2:13:35 EDT PM A bloom of blue-green algae has been detected in Callander Bay at the North Bay Yacht Club. The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit is working with the municipality and Ministry of the Environment to advise residents. “The operator of Callander’s water treatment plant has activated all of the appropriate steps for the safety of the municipal water supply,” the health unit said in a media release. Blue-green algae are primitive microscopic bacteria that live in fresh water. They are usually hard to see, but during hot weather, they can rapidly grow to form a large bloom. The Microcystin-LR (bacteria toxin) concentration is above the acceptable standard for drinking water, the health unit said, and advises residents and visitors near the Yacht Club to avoid swimming in the area and make sure pets stay away from the area. Residents with private water systems should avoid using the water near the North Bay Yacht Club for drinking, cooking or bathing. The health unit notes that boiling the water or using home water treatment devices will not destroy the toxins. Toxins can irritate the skin and, if ingested, cause diarrhea and vomiting. At high enough levels, the toxins may cause liver and nervous system damage. On the web: www.healthunit.biz
  16. Unfortunately there is not a chance that will happen.
  17. Costco did (double check current policy) double manufacture's 1 warranty to two years automatically. Given the current limited longevity of these products it might be of value. You don't have to get a HD box (either bought or supplied by your cable company) but I really like it for sports and nature/travel shows. At this point, imo, unless you are really into 3D video games and/or 3D movies I would not bother with 3D tv.
  18. I just realized that on the mobile version on my phone they don't show.
