  1. Pretty darned sad what's happening lately, eh Cliff ??
  2. Even now I seldom wear a jacket if somebody else is with me in the boat, but a couple years back I started to wear one when I was fishing alone. I find the regular jackets just too uncomfortable though to wear all day, specially in the hot summer. These new inflatable ones seem like they'd be comfortable enough to wear all day, according to those who use them.
  3. One of the reasons I picked this model Paul is that they advertise a neoprene collar, supposedly to eliminate neck irritation.
  4. According to the website, it inflates after a tablet disolves but I was always under the impression it actually took a certain amount of water pressure for that to happen.
  5. Your absolutely correct, my mistake
  6. Thanks fellas, and if there's no negative reports about this model I'll go ahead and get it.
  7. I'm starting to make out my Christmas Wish list for Santa and have decided it's time to catch up to the 21st century and get myself an auto-inflatible PFD I like the features of this one but wondered if anyone is familiar with this particular model and has an opinion on it...good, bad or otherwise. I don't like ordering stuff on-line and can get this one down in Oshawa. http://www.mustangsurvival.com/recreational/deluxe-inflatable-pfd-automatic-activation-0?division=recreation
  8. Who doesn't love a puppy ?? Congrats Joey, you've got a new best friend for many years now !!
  9. Some great pictures there Shaun, the power of water is always impressive !!
  10. Sounds good, maybe I'll just come to YOUR place
  11. Starcraft makes a quality boat IMO Skipper. I had a couple tiller models years ago and they were very well made. I'd assume the current models are also good but I'm just speculating on that.
  12. I can run faster than her Brian
  13. Yup, right down inside that shaft Skipper, maybe 1 1/2" or so. I had a small bladed screwdriver with a long enough blade and it only took 5 minutes to adjust all 5 burners. I just told the ole girl she now has no more excuses for burning supper...then I ducked & ran
  14. OK thanks Guys, I put on my glasses and used a flashlight to look down the shaft and sure enough, there's definetely an adjustment screw in there. I've got 2 sets of jewellers screw drivers but their not long enough to reach it, but I'll find something to work. Thanks for the assist.
  15. Natural gas isn't available in this area so we switched the nozzles in our kitchen stove to the propane nozzles that came with it. We then had line run in from an outside propane tank and connected to the stove. Trouble is though, the propane flame is much hotter and even on the lowest setting, it's still too hot for some cooking. I stopped into the local propane company yesterday and they said all I have to do is pull the knobs off the front of the stove and look down the tube and I'd see an adjustment screw. Simply insert a screw driver, turn the screw to the left and that would make the flame smaller. Here's a couple pics of the tube the knob sits on and I can't see any adjustment there at all. Does anybody know FOR SURE if the flame can actually be adjusted and if so, where bouts is the adjustment screw ??
  16. Thanks Brian Excellent video Norm, well worth waiting for !! Not much better than a boy and his pooch loving each other !!
  17. Did all that Norm and still nothing. Oh well....
  18. Do them both Cliff, your music abilities are outstanding, specially your own arrangements !!
  19. I dunno Norm, but I couldn't get this to open in the email you sent me and I can't get this one to open either Very strange indeed.
  20. I believe that should be AN honest effort BB Just sayin
  21. Hey Cliff, I hope in December your gonna post the Christmas arrangement you did a couple years ago, that was absolutely amazing !!
  22. Every Friday night my wife and I drive into Peterboro for supper and always try to hit a different place each week. Last night we went to Montanas, and as always it was a fun night. I also have to go into town whenever I need stuff that's not available locally. Never yet been mugged, accosted, bothered, robbed, beaten, had my truck broken into or otherwise had our night ruined. I've been in alot of cities on both sides of the Atlantic from Trinidad to Scandanavia and would put the saftey of Peterboro right up there with the best of them. EVERY city in the world has bad areas and if you go there, you could find trouble, and if you avoid them, you'll probably have a good time. Some of our closest friends have lived in Peterboro their entire lives and NONE of them have ever had a problem.
  23. Beautiful fish Mike, big incidentals are always a bonus !!
  24. Fantastic fishing trip and even better pictures !! Thanks for taking us along.
  25. That's the way I used to get rid of all the pennies cluttering up the house every year. A bucket full is worth nothing and it's too much aggrevation to roll them for the few $$$$ you get back. Dump a hand full in every bag, I got rid of the junk and the kids thought they hit the jackpot Trouble is now though, there's no kids around here and the penny pails are starting to fill up again
