  1. A couple of very impressive fish indeed !!
  2. Your having a great year Larry !!
  3. Good times and a couple nice fish to go with it Wil !!
  4. I had a Rogers email account in Toronto for many years. I moved to the country 2 years ago and seeing as cable isn't available here I had to get a Rogers Rocket Hub for my phone and internet. After I got it all set-up I tried to get into my email account but it no longer existed. Even when I tried to send myself a message it came back saying the address basically was gone. I contacted Rogers and was told that "sorry, once you went with the hub your account was wiped out and couldn't be retrieved" My email account just went poof into cyberspace along with all my addresses and several important things I had stored there. It'd be nice if these fine folks informed us when things like this are gonna happen
  5. There's a fuse box in the engine compartment, basically right above the rad and I think that's where you'll find the fuse for the trailer. If not, look in the panel down by where your passengers right foot would be.
  6. Happy Anniversary to a pair of real nice people. All the best !!
  7. When I had a 90 Merc 4 stroke I pulled the plugs and just squirted the fogging oil straight into the cylinders through the spark plug holes. Once it's all done, crank the engine just for a second and your good to go. The top 3 plugs are easy to access but the bottom one is a bit tricky, so get your self an articulated socket wrench and then it's quite easy to get at it.
  8. Hopefully not more than $210
  9. Well, no more loot found over the weekend, so I spose I'm gonna have to settle with what I've got. Thanks for all the laughs folks
  10. With Christmas fast approaching, I think my wife will have ideas of what to do with the new found loot. Thanks boys, I'm glad everyone found a bit of humour in my senility
  11. My grandfather who fought in the trenches of France in WW1 with the British Army, was wounded by shrapnel in one battle and was awarded the Military Medal for bravery in another battle. My Dad who spent 5 years in the Navy in WW2 keeping the convoys safe from the German U-boats while crossing the Atlantic. Dads brother who spent 5 years in the Army during WW2 My Moms brother who was a bomber pilot in WW2 and was killed when his plane went down along with his entire crew. Another uncle in the British Army in WW2 who was captured by the Japanese in Burma and for the next 2 years was starved, beaten with chains and gun butts and tortured on a regular basis. He weighed 220 lbs when captured and 100 pounds at wars end. Plus 1/2 a dozen other uncles who fought in the Canadian Army. Their all gone now, but I'm very proud of what the men of my family have done to help make Canada the free and safe country that it is. I'll be at the Memorial Service in Peterboro this morning saying thanks to all those that did their part.
  12. I think I'll spend the weekend tearing the house apart. Who knows what else I've hidden around here ??
  13. I was rummaging through one of my drawers last night looking for something and when I moved some stuff in the back I came across a wad of cash that turned out to be $70. I asked my wife if she put it there and she said no, so I guess I stuck it there for whatever reason and forgot all about it.....bonus I would never hide money on my wife and have no idea why it was there. Anyways, I go back to my original search in some other drawers and darned if I don't find another wad of loot I squirelled away at some point, this time it's $140 Getting older & forgetful isn't always a good thing, but if this keeps up I may be a rich man someday
  14. Yup, lotsa room back there for the boat too Skipper, plus the vehicles out in front.
  15. Build the bench as big as you can, and the more lights above it, the better.
  16. A peg board on the wall by the bench is always handy to hold the smaller tools you use on a regular basis, rather than digging thru the toolbox all the time.
  17. I've been very happy with my Toro that I purchased from a local dealer and as someone else mentioned, it was set up properly and delivered to the house free of charge.
  18. My Dad joined the Navy in 1940 and spent the next 5 years fighting for our freedom. That's Dad on your right covered in coal dust after just coming out of the engine room. His buddy beside him burned to death later on when the boiler exploded. This was his ship.
  19. I trolled for about 4 hours but never hooked up with anything then headed for home around 1:30 or so. Nice day for a boat ride though Water temps were 46-48 F and there's still LOTS of very green & healthy weeds.
  20. Dave, please extend my best wishes to your Mom
  21. I'll be on Pigeon in an hour and the conditions are looking excellent
  22. That's really nice Mike, I've seen alot of his work before and he's definetely got some talent.
  23. Happy B-Day Betty and all the best !!

  25. I walk my little pooch in the woods everyday and he's always sniffing everything and every once in awhile he'll sniff something he doesn't like and run for home. Don't know if it's a bear or a fisher but he never hangs around to find out.
