I buy the Bush beans in Foodland in Lakefield but when I was there last week they were outta stock. I went and enquired and was told their supplier no longer carries them but they were searching around for another supplier. With my wife cruising somewhere on the Pacific Ocean I'm eating alot of beans and Heinz doesn't compare to Bush.

I spose if they ever ran outta bullets they could have dropped the anchors on the subs

I went down to Home Depot 1st thing this morning to pick up some stuff and then spent all day working outside. I accomplished alot, never got hurt or broke anything and feel like a million bucks. It was a wonderful day

It's stamped right on my wheelbarrow tire that I'm not allowed to go on the hiway with it. Takes me darned near forever to get any place having to run down the back roads to avoid the coppers

We've got several mechanics on this board and every one is as honest as the day is long. I wouldn't paint everybody with the same brush.

I once accidently left a Rule pump running (dry) for 24 hours and it didn't affect it at all, infact as far as I know that pump is still working today, 7 or 8 years later.

Starting to get a bit of wet snow falling over my way now and the weather dood says we may get a few inches. My wife leaves in 3 hours for a 2 week cruise across the Pacific to Hawaii and told me she's sorry to hear about the lousy weather approaching us but she really doesn't care and sorry for my bad luck.

I only fish for muskies but my best times are as the sun breaks over the horizon in the morning and then the hour before and after sunset.

I read alot if different boating and fishing sites and the discussion on Marathon trailer tires comes up quite freqentely and I always find them interesting. There never seems to be a middle ground on them and guys are either very happy with them or think their nothing but garbage. Some guys say they've run them for years with zero problems and other guys are having them blow apart almost right away. They used to be made in the USA and are now from China but there's still alot of differing opinions. My current boat came on an EZ Loader with Marathons made in China and I towed it for 2 years and never had an issue. I got a new tandem axle trailer last year and those tire are also Chinese made Marathons and after one season I'm happy with them....so far anyhoo. Carliles are another tire that get mixed reviews and again guys either love them or hate them. I had Carliles on a Yacht Club trailer I got new in '99 and was very happy with them. I never keep tires longer than 4 or 5 years and changed those ones for more Carliles and again was happy with them. I'm very fussy with tire maintanance whether it's on my trailers or trucks and rotate them regularily, inspect them alot and check the air pressure before EVERY trip, even short ones which IMHO is the #1 thing for keeping tires safe. Poorly maintained tires are probably the biggest reason for tire failier but far too many guys don't seem to realise that. Of course thats just my opinion for what it's worth.

I got the same letter 3 times over the course of several years after purchasing a new boat back in '99. I sent them a copy of my bill of sale twice but ignored the 3rd letter and haven't heard back. Nothing but a typical government fiasco. Unfortunately I can't remember who I sent them to...sorry.

You could very well be right on that but I just assumed all motors had the adjusting fin. I had a new 25 Johnson back in the late 80's that definetely had one.

Looks like your fin is totally missing Justin. It would be just about where those 2 screw heads are in front of your Dad's nose.

Yup, that's correct Justin but just move it a bit at a time as it doesn't take much to fix it.

Probably just need to adjust the fin above the prop Justin.
