  1. I just couldn't imagine being locked into payments for 15 years on such a small boat like that and paying double the price in interest. Just my thoughts, but why not just hold off for a couple years and save your money until you can pay cash for it and save a small fortune on interest. I couldn't even enjoy fishing from a boat knowing it would take 15 years just to pay for it, but that's just me.
  2. I've spent decades fishing after dark and have always done very well, and have never used glow in the dark type lures. Use baits that give off good vibrations and slow down your retrieve and you'll do just fine.
  3. Great trip Marty, looks like you've got some competition on your hands these days....but Dirt ??....where'd that one come from ?? Can't believe how much he's grown in the last couple years. I think that pic Rob posted was when "Dirt" grabbed the tackle box off the table thinking it was his prize....that was priceless
  4. I haven't used a spinning reel for several years now, but the 2 I've got are both 4000 series. I only ever used them for trolling for pickeral and they worked well for that. Maybe it's just me but I just always felt the larger reels were more comfortable to hold.
  5. Happy Birthday G-man, hope your having a great day !!
  6. What spincast said ^^^
  7. Nice big fish for sure.

    HEAT WAVE

It's summertime in Ontario boys, it's sposed to be hot. In another few months we'll be wishing for some warm weather
  9. Craig never said it was HIS group that was causing the mess, he was talking about a large group of people in general. Didn't seem to me to be that hard to understand
  10. I bought H2Optics quite a few years back and payed around $135 and their excellent glasses and to this day have no scratches on the lenses and are as good as the day I bought them. I also carry cheap glasses in the boat for anyone who needs them and there is no comparison to good glasses. I also have to wonder how some of you guys manage to break or lose soooo many things ??
  11. Their ALL worthy Mo, just some are MORE worthy than others
  12. I remember back when we we're kids every once in awhile we'd get a very rare green bottle outta the COKE vending machine and always considered that a bonus...for some unknown reason that long ago escaped me We always called them American bottles but I have no idea why. Seems to me we payed a whopping .07 cents for a COKE back then too.
  13. There ya go, now we're getting into some serious musky offerings Great work Chris
  14. Good times are guaranteed Roy
  15. We used to swim in the Rouge just south of hwy 2 back in the 50's and there was a wooden dam to make the river deeper. We also had a rope swing where we'd swing out over the water and drop in. I let go of the rope one day and dropped into 4 or 5 feet of water and a broken bottle went 1/2 way thru my foot and I've still got the scars from that day. Seem like I spent half my boyhood swimming in that old river. I realize this has nothing to do with this post and I apologize to the OP, but it brought back a bunch of fun old memories from a time when TV and computers didn't get in the way of kids having REAL fun
  16. And I imagine that trend will continue too....sadly.
  17. Amazing pictures Dave, their sharper than mine when my subject is standing still right in front of me
  18. Yes, when the pics are edited in Picasa they are saved back to "my pictures" As for the brown spots on the grass, I was hoping the sharper images would take care of that...obviously I was wrong
  19. I believe those last ones were 1600 x 1200 but I've been trying different things to fix the problem.
  20. Thanks guys, that seems to have helped. Funny thing is I don't ever remember changing it to the wrong setting before. Much appreciated.
  21. Morning boys I have a problem with Photobucket and wonder if it happens to anyone else or perhaps you know what causes it. I use Google's Picassa program to edit my pictures and they come out pretty decent and sharp, but when I email them to my Photobucket account they lose their sharpness and almost become blurry. When I initially download the pictures from my camera to "My Pictures" file their OK and then get better after editing so that part seems alright. The problem seems to happen only after they go to Photobucket. I used to use a software called Image Mixer and never had a problem but don't have that anymore. My camera is a basic Cannon Power Shot A720IS with 8 MP and I've tried different settings but nothing seems to help. Here's a sample of the problem. It's a picture of my house that I took yesterday and after editing it was very sharp and crisp but this is what it looks like after it gets to Photobucket. Anyone have any thoughts ??
  22. Very very nice !!
  23. Nice one Mike, trolling ??
  24. I thought it was the warm water that made the teeth fall out ??
  25. It's easier to just grab them by the eye sockets Art, keeps em from squirming too much.
