  1. Seriously??? Mnr tells u you can keep a muskie over 52" u gonna keep it??? I know its a trout, but regardless, if its worth more to you on a dinnerplate then in the water or on your line again, no comment...
  2. Best of luck! It has a nice 36" rapala rod as well! And please dont rub it in my face if u get it. Its brand new, had it out twice...
  3. Stood up for a stretch, and kicked it in the hole handle first...
  4. Whenever i try to upload my iphone pics, it wont allow me... Says the file is too big.
  5. Its funny because i made a comment in the classifieds few days ago, the guy selling the showdown had a pic using the core, and i commented," i thought i was the only one crazy enough to use a core on ice"... Definetly psyched mysel out!
  6. It costs me $1.75/month. And yes, watch it for a week and the rest is all repeats for half a year... Guess they dont get enough funding.
  7. Great ideas, but i sold my sled and its a long way out... If i did go back out, i would focus more on fishing then trying to hook a small ice rod and reel in 78fow. My luck, it would never happen! Already tried for couple hours when it happened. 44*28.098N 79*19.898W. Best of luck if u think u can get it. Its about 15km from beaverton.
  8. Dont get too excited, its at the bottom of lake simcoe... Any divers interested, PM me and ill give u the waypoints.
  9. If i can just buy everything already mapped, i would be able to spend a lot more time fishing then finding ideal structure to fish. And if i can help map uncharted areas, great! Im sure there would be a ton of thankful people such as myself.
  10. Lol. I realize that, thats why i said i wish they would figure out a way... I guess it would have to be a hydraulic/electric system to make it work in a similar way.
  11. I love the idea of ipilot, but the motors that are compatible are all electronic wire driven as opposed to cable driven. Bass anglers nightmare when cutting through thick weeds. I wish they would have somehow made it compatible with the $2000 fortrexx motor i bought last year.
  12. I get 14L/100km average on my 05 5.3L and i have the rare aluminum block L:33 motor which is better on fuel...
  13. I am not familiar with both units enough to give u exact details that set them apart, but having a friend who is sponsored by Hummingbird, and buys a new hds for his personal ranger bassboat tells me a lot.
  14. From what i heard from semi pro friends, quite a bit more sophisticated... But personally i love the fact that i can buy the unit this year for cheap, and add all the fancy goodies as i can afford later on.
  15. No because the hd di si is optional on the lowrance units and sold seperately.
  16. The new lowrance real rime structure mapping is amazing! My new favorite feature. Amazing detail thanx to structure scan!
  17. Why is nobody talking about the new hds7? Its twice the unit....
  18. Honey harbour is rhe best pike fishing ive ever had in my life!
  19. Also wanted to add, dont fish the areas they tell u to fish at french. I made friends with some locals the last night i was there and they all told me the same thing... They advise you to fish certain areas that are "very good" but their guides stay very clear of those spots for a reason, and boat an hour out of the lodge area. Only people catching good fish while i was there were out with the guides, while the rest of us were skunked with bass and pickerel and only caught small pike.
