Oh they do Fisherman, the rates rise for accident prone drivers until they just can't pay any longer. Then they drive without a licence and insurance so good drivers have to make up the difference as to not effect the profit margins. When was the last time you heard of a Insurance company going broke in Ontario a bank, or a credit union?

$120.9 in Cayuga yesterday and I saw $1.22.9 west of St. Catherines. St. Kitts is usually less so I waited until we got there to find $123.00. It felt like I was in High School again because I put in 15 bucks worth in Dunnville, enough to get to the Rez today. I don't know if filling there is right, I don't know if it is wrong, I don't know if it's even legal or not, what I do know is that it's 13 cents less.

GSP is an Alien. He should be past his prime. Father time waits for no man. That is why I personally think his win is so monumental. I really will be surprised if he agrees to a Whitager or McGregor fight. It is no coincidence he went up a weight class, his metabolism and drop in his Testosterone is a natural phenomenon men face as they approach their 40's. However being an Alien he doesn't age. I have to go back outside and finish this winterizing the boat bee ess.

I have had issues with truckers huzzsaba, but not as many as aggressive automobile drivers in the last 25 years. There was a day when cars and trucks on highways worked together. I have been driving mostly the I-75, I-90 or I-95 since the early 70's. There was a time a flick of the lights and you would let a big rig enter or pass, then the driver would flash all his marker light in thanks, the same went the other way. I really believe there will as much gridlock in 20 years as now. The more super highways they build the more traffic, the more traffic the more super highways they will build. North America is not a "commuter" society. When people from Europe visit here they are astounded by the automobile traffic we have. They too have gridlock, drive in London or Rome but most are on scooters and the balance is commercial traffic. You commute to work by rail, bus, bike or scooter, the car, if you have one, is for weekend drives or Holidays. Most often never to get to work and back. Insurance rates and licencing fees in some nations are based on miles a year you are driven. The more you drive the more you pay. Crazy idea eh?

Oh no, didn't hear that today. He was one of my favorite Pitchers when I was a Baseball fan. Sad for the family and his fans, condolences. 2 time Cy Young winner, the man was talented. 40 years young, what a waste. Irish, I denote a sentiment that the aircraft isn't the safest. Am I right? Just looked at the plane, very unique I think with that rear prop. Just the other day a similar plane flew along the shoreline. We see aircraft constantly as they use the shoreline as a road map I guess and they fly very low, low enough where the Pilot waves back. Never recall seeing one like it before.

Like I said Rick I am banned from making home made dough, much better by far. The kitchen looks like a scene from Good Fellas cutting Coke. The 5 minute rule. I would cry like a bambino. Just last week I had a crew of guys here helping me do a job and I drained the pasta and dummy me tried to balance the "Spaghetti go, water no" on the middle of the double sink and doesn't the thing fall with a few pounds of pasta into the other sink full of dirty dish water. Idioto! Guys had to wait another 20 minutes to manga. I guess the beer's yeast would help the dough. 65 pounds in a year, wow, good on you if you were trying to slim down. It sure must help the old joints eh Dave? Wow, that happened to one of the boys on a ice trip at Nipp years ago. He had never done a dish, pot or pan in his life and was ordered to do the dishes. An hour later "Where's Janko?" He was scrubbing the cast iron pan with a what was full box of steel wool. I know the cottage owners were non too happy. Actually Rick I don't use sun dried tomatoes. You might not even find one north of Rome. I have one somewhere around here and forgot all about it. Need to dig it out. Mine fits perfect in the BBQ but on the small side now that I recall. Thanks for the reminder Craig. -
For the last 20 years you can walk across the things here cuzza. With the high water levels I never saw or heard one this year. There would be nights when we had the windows open you could hear them having at it. I'll let you know when they arrive next spring. Remind me, I need lots of reminding these days You caught that eh oldtimer. But seriously good on you.

The flies you showed here Floatnfly are as much or more Art as they are craft. Very nice. I need to give fly fishing another shot. I know where to get some deadly flies. Maybe someone here will put up with me for a day learning how next spring.

Amazing, thanks for the link mate. A few things I noticed, a good amount of blood was being spewed out from the gills on the one shark at the start of the video, injured from competing for the whale maybe. I can't see it coming from the Whale. Is that a crack on the right side of the sub's windscreen? I hope not at any depth let alone 750 metres down the abyss. Those guys are gonna' need a bigger Sub!

Moths do have rather large testicles for such a small insect. 1st laugh of the day Mr. G, thanks. There will be as many different winterizing procedures as there are boats out there. I too paid to winterize the boat before I watched many videos on YouTube, even marine dealers procedures vary from one to another.

I can't even go out for dinner anymore without getting heartburn or just feel like poo after. Too rich for me now and I'm full after an app and a beer. Dinner out now is A&W once every 6 weeks or so and it's about 100 bucks less for the 2 of us. Or a Big Mac when I am jammed up, works better than anything in the Drug store. And it kills me to pay crazy money for something we can make as good or better at home. I lie, we will hit a Chinese food restaurant every few months or so. We used to eat out at least 5 nights a week minimum when we lived in downtown Hamilton, that was a long time ago. -
I can't see how any damage could be done to the pump running air through it, actually may help getting bilge scum out. That may be a good time to pour some bilge cleaner in it. Running it dry won't harm it either, not mine at least. I accidentally engaged the manual switch about 6 years ago and it ran until the battery died, that had to be a very long time and no damage to the pump.

I use the dryer sheets and Irish Spring soap to get all the fish smell out of the boat after slaying them all season! I don't know if it works all I know is I haven't had any meeses and the boat smells nice like a Spring Mornin'.

No better reason to buy a new rod. How would it make you feel if you are about to land a new personal best and the rod breaks, again. Not very good I would imagine. With all the money we spend getting to the water, on the water and all the stuff to stay warm and dry and the many dollars in tackle why spoil it McGivering a broken tool. Kind of like using 10 year old mono and wondering why it broke. It's the only thing between you and your trophy. I have a dozen or more broken rods that I always intended on repairing and then decided it was foolish, plus I got a dozen new rods to break.

Exactly Grimsby. I've limited out more than a few times. I wonder if they have a pro tour? We used to fish Smallies 40 years back up on the Maitland River. We Microfished (new word for dictionary) for bait with an ice rod and a small bit of worm. That was before I ever heard of a dip net.

I love that idea. Winterizing the boat tomorrow, I'm going to do that too, thanks. I have winterizing OCD. Dryer sheets, moth balls and Irish Spring soap in every nook and cranny. I know guys that pull it out of the water, pull the plug, tilt the outdrive or OB down to drain the water and that's it. No fogging, no gas treatment no nothing including leaving the battery in all winter. I'm on a meager budget plus I wouldn't sleep all winter. The saddest day of the year for me without going to a funeral. It was too nice today to do it. Should have gone Smallmouth fishing here on Erie, water was like glass.

Ah buddy you have to make them at home. Get a pizza pan from a restaurant supply place. That is the key. It has perforations like expanded metal or holes in it, it has to season like cast iron and never let anyone scrub it clean, just soap and water. High heat, 480 for my gas oven works best. 17 to 19 minutes and done like dinner. Slides right off onto my giant 1" Ash cutting board from a tree we cut down years ago. Go for it, PM me and I'll talk you through it. -
Yep by accident. I buy my dough at Food Basics, Mollinaro brand, a very good store bought, I have been banned from making dough from scratch, the entire kitchen is white when I'm done. On Thursday I took one out of the freezer to let thaw and rise in an oiled metal bowl for Friday. Friday became Saturday then Sunday. It rose at least 4 times at room temp. I put the bowl in the fridge yesterday morning and forgot about it. This morning I'm thinking I best throw it out, I do not throw food out. So tonight I rolled it out and made a basic Pepperoni and Mushroom and used the cheap fake rubber Mottzarella so not to waste the good stuff. I have been making Pizza's for the last 59 years. I remember helping my Nani at the Family restaurant in Buffalo before I was in Kindergarten. For whatever reason this was one of if not the best pies ever. You can tell a good Pizza by holding a slice straight out, if it sags not good. If it sticks straight out it is done right. The dough was perfect, moist but not that raw wet slime that you get from 4 for 1 Pizzeria. It was so good you didn't notice the fake cheese. Usually I raise a dough once, twice for Focaccia some times thrice. But never 4 times. It will be 4 times from now on. There is only 1 slice left and I'm home alone tonight, come on over. I just had to share this victory.

Brian the only flies I know are the ones that get into the cottage and bite or the ones on my pants. I have to give it to you Brian, starting a new hobby as fly tying sure is a challenge, especially at your age. Keep it up. If you tie flies for the same amount of time you float around in that hybrid boat, inner tube, diving platform you are going to count them by the pound by the time ice is out. Any of the guys I know that tie flies need stronger and stronger glasses every year.

Pull the plug and let her drain. Then I will run the bilge dry for a few minutes in case some water is still in the pump. Same for live wells. I leave the plug out during the winter, I have seen plenty of moisture build up over the winter. I wouldn't believe it until I saw it in the spring when I pulled the plug and I know that boat was put away dry as a bone. I tape a piece of screen over the drain to keep Meeses from invading. Question, how do you get antifreeze into the livewell inlet? I pour some into the drains until they are full.

Maybe I'm lucky but haven't had an issue. I open the site at least once a day.

We have almost the identical boat Sinker. Mine is a 95. That 115 Mariner and my 15HP Mariner kicker I have as well as Featherstone Teds 90 Mariner all run like new. Yes most from that era have drives built by Yamaha exclusively for Mariner. Easy peasy to get parts for from Merc as well. Sad day today, the sun is shining Erie is calm and I am going outside to winterize her.

I agree wood, I have had nothing but respect for Bisping since he was on one of the first Ultimate Fighter series. A class act.
