Yes, I'm glad we have them too. They tend to thin the fisherman population on some of our lakes and rivers. They're also decent fodder for conversation at the campfire. The very large meaty ones in Northern Quebec are very nice filleted and sautéed in butter and will go well with most wines.

There's a trick to preemies. You MUST be there with them. They have to feel that you are there....touch them, talk to them. My youngest was born in '82 at 25 weeks. She was born at the Royal Victoria hospital.....I learned quickly how all of that equipment works...like the C-Pap unit for example. God bless the great, dedicated people who work there. Helene is 25 years old now and just a super daughter. Your situation will go well, just BELIEVE!

Yes, as long as you have good clean connections. I like to use heat shrink tubing over the soddered connections. Use 10 GA wire. You should also move the fuse in closer to the battery.

I know nothing about repairs to aluminum hulls but IMHO, that is not a stress crack. That's been hit. Either way, have it repaired properly. Don't mess with it.
