    Stony Report

You're only allowed to have ONE fishing permit.
  2. Thanks for the great report, Jen. Sure is purdy up there.
  3. Yeah, Rein certainly knows his fish.
  4. It is a Northern flicker. Matt is 100% correct. Edit: That's the yellow shafted because it has the red marking at the back of the head. The red shafteds have the red marking on their face. (Cheeks)
  5. I got a new smoker on the weekend and would like to know if any of you have a recipe (method) for smoking walleye. I tried some yesterday and while it's very tasty, it's not quite what I'm looking for. I did it with wine, lemons, parsley and cayenne pepper. Thanks
  6. Yes it certainly is a great effort by you guys. It's also not the first time that Skiel steps up to the plate to help out. Thank you.
  7. There should be TWO plgs going into the unit. One for the power and one for the transducer.
  8. UMMMM Houston? We have a conflict....
  9. The Ontario record is 2.25 lbs. but I don't know the length. I assume it had to be around 16+ inches.
  10. Very impressive indeed. Thanks for taking the time to post.
  11. Wow! That's a whack of fish you got there. Glad the weather calmed down for you guys. Some super pictures in there too! I must head up and meet 'Ole' Bernie' one of these days :-)
  12. Thanks for the report Jonaton. Do you think maybe your hooks need sharpening? Just a suggestion. Sounds like a great day on the water.
  13. A great day for both of you Lew and I'm sure that there was a third occupant in your boat.
  14. Chuck, a top would be an inconvenience for you. Conventional tops would still only be as high as your chest...
  15. Keep a two foot length of weed edger cord in the boat. Once the motor is running, stick the cord down the pee hole...that'll take care of it.
  16. Hey Shawn, what's for dinner tonight? You really ought to marry that sweetie. :-)
  17. Have a great time, Chris. Looking forward to the pics and words. Be well.......and safe also.
  18. They won't go down deep enough consistently Joe, so the bottom bouncer keeps the bait in the strike zone. I'm only trolling 50' or so behind the boat.
  19. They seemed to be all the same size Mike but I think the largest was 32".
  20. A short report from last night on the Larry. I was out for 2 hours or so...5PM till 7. I got 6 for 6 then wrapped her up. The walleyes are on the feed. Smallest was 26" Took them all on a down deep husky jerk (blue and gold) 4' behind a 2 ounce bottom bouncer. Surface temp was 61F. Was running 1.8 to 2.2 mph. upstream. Here's a pic of the one I brought home. (26")
  21. Go Princecraft. (in this case)
  22. Way to go Carole! Please bring a hair rig to Lakair...I want to see what they look like.
  23. Congrats to you and your Dearheart, Jason. The keyword here is 'compromise'. If you both can do that, you will last forever. Be well and have a great time in the South.
  24. The average age of fisherfolks in Cornwall is 38.5 years old.
  25. Why do we have to wait till TJ gets back (he's already home)...did he win?
