  1. Dave, this might be a better version of "Shout". Sorry cannot embed this one.
  2. I'm glad you've seen the pattern here.
  3. I understand what you're saying Dave but you can't really compare it that way. With a Normal fishing thread, once people have congratulated/commented/asked a question on the thread, that's about it. With this thread people keep coming back and posting a tune...some have posted as many as 40, 60, 70 and 90 times to the same thread.
  4. Acrophobics need not apply.
  5. I'd be careful...how much does your son weigh? You'll be fine. A little preparedness goes a long way.
  6. Dad would be proud.
  7. Thanks for posting that, Craig. These people need a hug and it looks like Dofasco, the volunteers and the Rotary Club has that part covered. Good for them.
  8. What Wayne said.
  9. Maybe not but I hear they cuss a lot.
  10. *Makes mental note to book a trip with Lloyd soon.*
  11. hahahaha I know Wayne....just gets to be funny after a while. Funny retarded.
  12. Looks like you had a great day! Thanks for the report. That's because there were no in-flight movies to keep him occupied this time out.
  13. Perch are one of the worst fish for knives. Usually have to smooth the edge after every few fish if you want a clean cut.
  14. The walleye and pike in almost every supermarket are wild fish.
  15. With the flooding out this way, the carp are using the streets...probably looking for a store with corn.
  16. Congrats! It's a late spring, lots will still be egg laden.
  17. As far as I know, neither the Extreme nor the Tournament are available in two piece. The shortest Extreme is 6'3" in Med. Light. The shortest Tournament is 6' light, one piece also. Shimano Compre has a two piece 6' Ultra Light. There are others as well. Good luck.
  18. You guys fought hard to get in there and stay in there. Congrats to you. Some excellent descriptions and photos detailing your trip. Thank you for taking us along.
  19. Congrats on the christening, Paul. East will be worse than where you were. Go west or better still, hit the Townships for trout or wawa. There's one place east of you that may be clear, PM me if you need the info. Go get'em.
  20. Your old name was Pikehunter Jr.
  21. Welcome back! I saw your name in validation and your other account in there and waited till you showed up to drop one of the accounts. Was gunna call dear ol' dad to make sure it was you but I was sure it was. Nice to have you back.
  22. Beauty report and pics, Frankie! Congrats to the three of you. Looks like a nice calm day out there too!
  23. Maybe I'm not reading this right but if the cap is going on partly then popping off, I don't think you have the incorrect size. there's too much difference from one size to another ie. 1.78", 1.98", 2.00", 2.33". OK the 1.98 and the 2.00 are fairly close. I think that it might be the way that you're trying to put it on. If you held the cap centered to the hub and tapped lightly all around until it completly seated...tap through the piece of wood if you must. If worse comes to worst, they're only about $3 a pair. Go out and buy the two closest sizes to what you need.
  24. A few memories with this one... <iframe width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/UCmUhYSr-e4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
