  1. Very nice fish indeed! So nice and clean too! No marks on them...the muskies must have been looking the other way. Thanks for sharing.
  2. Google "Paypal scams" and you can read all about it Brian. There's nothing wrong with Paypal... The problem will be the emails from Paypal you'll be getting asking for more personal info for "your own protection". Run Forrest Run!
  3. And FYI, go to the Fenwick site http://www.fenwickfishing.com/ and read what it says on the cover page. Those four words alone should give you an idea as to their competence. Fenwick answers Bassmaster's question themselves.
  4. Fenwicks were a decent rod 40 years ago. If they work well for you, great but they really DO have a bad reputation for blowing up.
  5. Great that you got walleye in sight at one place and lakers at another. Great shots and video. Thanks.
  6. It must be so peaceful paddling that kayak around. Thanks for posting that. And yes, unlikely trio.
  7. Great report, Dan. You're really providing those boys a good childhood. Congrats!
  8. Thanks for the report and welcome aboard, Mike.
  9. Strictly from an esthetics perspective, I'd say that silver might not stand out as well with chromers. Silver would be visually pleasing with browns and speckleds. Gold would probably clash with your riverwear. I don't think that green is a pin type colour but it might be your only option.
  10. Yeah, that was my next question.
  11. Absolute pigs, David! Congrats.
  12. Magic trick eh? Great report, glad you had a good time.
  13. Good for you! That's a great fish and a clean one too! You were really lucky on the pics too. Fantastic.
  14. Way to go, G-Man! Congrats on your PB. Glad to see you're wearing your PFD. Keep setting a good example for that dad of yours. Thanks for sharing your weekend.
  15. Just think of the glorious memories, Wayne. Remember, some folks buy a ready built house, and the only memories they have is of moving day and the 3 dozen people who showed up to help them dust off the counters and cupboards. You guys did good.
  16. Fantastic! Congrats to you Mike and glad you and your family had a great Thanksgiving weekend.
  17. Anyone making wood baits should jump on Cliff's generous offer. One of the best carving woods available. I'm too far away to take it.
  18. Tight family working together. I pitched in and fixed some filtered try again please.

Super baits Jacques! A lot of work went into those. Fish catching colours too! I thought you once said that you weren't using a lathe...if that's the case, you have a dang good eye and lots of patience. Nice stuff, thanks for posting.

Thanks for the info, Lew AHHHHHHH Chris! Most people knows about your quality rods. I was hoping you'd post some of your insects. The first time I saw some of yours I was speechless. I mean, the realism is out of this world. Even if you did post some of them before, I'm sure we all don't mind seeing them again and again. Great stuff! Mike, no, I don't see a need for through-wire on those particular baits. If they were plastic, rubber or balsa then yes, they'd be through-wired. I'm even moving away from screw eyes. There's a better way.
  21. Now there's a good pic for the OFC archives for sure! Great shot. Glad you guys got to meet up. You could be brothers...you know that eh?
  22. That bird appears to be more maimed than sick.
  23. I found a starling in my backyard this early summer. It didn't look good at all. It was moving a little but you could tell it was sick. The little ones were worried about the bird. I kept them away from the bird and told them that it might catch its breath and fly away again or it could be very sick and might die. The very next day the kids were in the yard and right away started yelling that the bird was gone, that it had flown away. And that's the wonderful thing about this stuff...birds will most likely be gone the next day and you can choose the ending you want.

HAHAHAHA I love you too, Connie. In a manly manner of course.

Lew, good stuff. I was noticing...do you 'TEE' all of your forward trebles? Also, is that a Weagle I see there? George, your Woodies need no introduction. They're well known, in fact just last week I was looking at them on Stacey's site. Very nice stuff. Larry, I've seen your baits before somewhere but I can't for the life of me remember where. At that time I didn't know you made baits and was blown away when I saw them. Mike, what can I say...very nice history and product progression. I have some of your baits but have yet to use them.(I haven't gotten out this season hardly at all.) I certainly will soon and report to you. One of my sayings is, and it specifically applies to baits: "You can never say a bait is bad until it has worked at least once."
