What day is it....I could be free and I LOVE FREE MEALS....LOL

REALLY....learn something everyday....is it a Thursday like ours or on the weekend....maybe I can celebrate both Thanksgivings...

I couldn't live in a area where someone else tells me what I can and cannot do in my own home....grrrrrrrr that gets my blood boiling enough that I don't even have to heat the house... But anyways.....I have been heating with primarily wood for about 10 years....but that's coming to a end as my RA is affecting me more and more and can't do the heaving lifting, etc... However, we still plan to burn 2-4 cords this year, supplementing the furnace on the coldest days with my LOPI....

3 generations in a boat is a WONDERFUL thing.... CONGRATULATIONS.

That's a tough one.....first most days after Thanksgiving are snowing and blowing....and second most anglers I know are deer hunting. But if you get into some I'm sure others would like to hear how. Good Luck, Bob

And me north....only actually met a couple OFC members (Cliff and Sinker) and the pleasure was truly mine...but my buddy Merc had a welcoming package sent special delivery waiting for me when Cindy and I arrived at the "Cliff Manson"...Paul, I still haven't tapped that Canadian Maple Syrup but that BBQ sauce went in a blink of an eye.....waiting to use the Maple Syrup on a nice bowl of vanilla ice cream...maybe on my birthday.... Someday soon, I hope to be a host to some OFNrs....Cliff said he may be heading south this winter, so here's hoping. Bob

Yesterday I got stopped by the police around 2 a.m. on the way home from the fire hall and the police officer asked where I was going at this time of night. Don't know why but I have always loved pumpkins....at this time of the year I am on the hunt for large pumpkins for $3 or less....it's a QUEST for me...I drive my duck hunting partner John crazy because on the way home I always take different off the beat roads looking for farm side stands for that GREAT PUMPKIN "DEAL"...this year he has threatened to buy me one so he doesn't have to go thru this ordeal again.... Too late......took the crimper back to Radio Shack yesterday on the way to a family reunion party....and also too late to call Tundra "little" she's getting friggin HUGE...at this rate (3 months old) I am expecting her to be somewhere between 6-7' tall on all fours...

YEP, good idea there with the garden hose...been thinking about something similar but this is a bit more complex because of all the different wires going different places.

Purchased new 1985 Johnson 50hp VRO outboard: I always use a fuel stabilizer (Sta-Bil, the red stuff)near the end of the season so I know it has run thru the system...but this year I did purchase the Marine Grade Sta-Bil, the blue stuff because of the ethanol now in expensive gasoline. I remove the plugs and fog both cylinders and turn over by hand. Grease all Zerk fitting on steering components and outboard. Drain and refill lower unit with lower unit lube or if I don't have any gear oil. Remove electronics and take boat to storage area where I plug in my onboard charger to maintain both batteries. Shed a tear or two because I know it's going to be a long winter, again... Come mid March I sport a HUGE SMILE while I remove boat from storage and start up in driveway while smoking out the neighbors... :unsure: ...of course always using the ear muffs for the cooling system. First day of ice off on Chautauqua Lake I'm out there crappie fishing....some go to the neighbors I previously smoked out... This has stood the test of time for me.... ...so I'm not about to change anything.... Bob

The damn Yankee Redneck wants to THANK all my fellow anglers for the tech help I received last night.....went to Radio Shack and purchased....er borrowed....a crimping tool and I'm back up and running...and boy are those little wires buggers to work with...hard to get in correct order and be nice and straight....actually I can't believe that system works as good as it does...not my choice for durability but then again it WORKS and that's all that counts. The first thing I thought was too much hp on a 16.5' boat. I hate to say it but I would think insurance would be null and void if something happens....and I am not referring to the boat but rather to someone hurt, be it in the boat or elsewhere. You could be facing a HUGE lawsuit...be extra careful. BTW is it possible that this motor could have a governor installed on it ? ? ?... Bob
