Just like any other business or organization you have the good the bad and the ugly.......I am not calling your peace officers any of these because I don't know them. But I will say you are judging them without any proof that they didn't do their jobs at hand..... I see no reason you can't call the same number that you called to report this suspicious activity to follow up what was done. All you have to do is explain you have property in the area and because of this incident you are concerned about the safety of your property, yourself and your family.....I also believe it would be better to contact these authorities in person rather than on the phone. At least this is how I would approach the problem...now if indeed nothing was done then you have every right to go higher up on the ladder be it within the police department or your local politician. Been there done that......as a volunteer firefighter, firetruck driver and fire police I have seen too much of this, especially lately. We use as many construction cones as possible to protect ourselves while directing traffic in a fire scene.... Had one direction closed one day and the lady insisted this was the only way she knew how to get to the Galleria Mall.....sorry lady but those are my fellow firefighters beyond this point and they come first and forth most....proceed beyond me and you will be arrested...do you understand ! ! !......she turned around....

There are many examples of bad driving and road rage but the one that ticks me off is I'm heading down the road let's say at the state speed limit of 55 mph and NO one in front of me.....then from a side street I can see someone creeping out looking towards me as I get closer and closer they pull out in front of me and now only want to go 45 mph.......they could of waited for me to pass as there is no one behind me......grrrrrrrr the horror. On a plus note I find the Crazy Canadian drivers some of the better ones out there.....much better than Boston and MUCH MUCH better than then nit wits in NJ......and your truck drivers stay out of the left lane on highways like QEW or the 401, etc.......I wish our truckers did the same here in NYS. I wouldn't put any "dry gas" in any of my outboards.....this stuff is NOT good for the seals...I would be using Marine Sta-Bil if anything. I have a crazy neighbor that will wash down her driveway with her garden hose and then dry it with her leave blower......errrrrrrrrrr the horror.

Many times I have frozen fish for months, even close to a year later smoked them........just as good as the day caught.

The leaf blower is one of the WORST inventions know to man kind........I don't get a peaceful moment because of them.....today as I was RAKING leaves while just down the road there was a guy BLOWING his leaves onto his neighbor's yard......I had twice as many leaves and finished in about half the time the nit wit did down the road......................leave blower = NOISY POLLUTION.......

I still can't believe most here don't have on-board charging systems in their boats......if you have on there is NO need to do much of anything to your batteries but keep them plugged in.....of course before putting away for the winter IF you have a battery that the caps are removeable then keep topped off with distilled water (bought some today at Wally World for .89 for a gallon)......... Steven Spielberg has made some great movies in the past but if he made a BAD movie would you go and see it just because you are a "Steven Spielberg" fan........I wouldn't......that would only encourage him to make more bad movies........
